About this property
Mountain Top Log Cabin w/ HOT TUB, fire-pit, WiFi!
This 2 Bedroom/2 Bath authentic A-Frame log cabin is nestled atop a private mountain with breathtaking views. Stargaze from the relaxing hot-tub, grill your fresh catch overlooking the mountains, listen for the wild turkeys while hiking the local trails. Sunlight filters through the many glass doors & warms the golden hardwood floors & you'll find yourself breathing deeper as you relax into this peaceful atmosphere. Over the river & through the woods to the "Dream Catcher" cabin you must go!
Fully equipped kitchen. Washer/Dryer included. Delicious well water. One bedroom is downstairs with a full bath and a more private bedroom is upstairs with a full bathroom & private balcony. There is WiFi & cable TV (not that you'd really need it) in both bedrooms plus the family room, an air hockey table and cards. New hot tub as of June 2022!
Entire home is accessible minus one owners closet.
Check in is at 3 pm
Check out is 10 am
We are very accessible via text.
Very private, the only other cabin you'll see from our cabin is way on another mountain top!
If they're calling for any snow, best to drive an SUV or all-wheel drive car/4x4. Some steep hills. Bryson City has a beautiful train station that takes you to Nantahalia Outdoor Center.
Not the best idea to navigate up the mountain for the first time after dark as there are turns that may be hard to see at night.
Also, regarding pets, we love pets and most are acceptable. However, if you’d like to bring your pet(s), PLEASE let us know ahead of time. We do ask if a pet is agreed upon that you pay a small per pet fee of $50 for small dogs, $65 for medium to large dogs, so our cleaning crew to ensure future guests that may be allergic to pets aren’t impacted.
PLEASE download the AirBnB app on your phone BEFORE you leave for your trip so you have quick access to ALL check-in instructions, access codes, WiFi info, your house manual & guidebook.
Please treat our place like it is your own
Leave shoes at the door to reduce the amount of debris in the unit
Please follow check-in & check-out procedures closely
Please do not boost the thermostat more than 1-2 degrees at a time
Please do not wash off make-up on towels/washcloths; only disposable wipes
Please do NOT put extremely sandy/dirty clothing or towels in washer or dryer
It is prohibitive to allow children or pets on the balcony without adult supervision at ALL TIMES!
We do allow dogs with a charge of $50 pet cleaning fee (per dog) for small dogs & $65 for medium to large dogs (per dog), which is not due until after you check-in. The cleaning crew will leave you an envelope and the prefer cash for pet the cleaning fee. For other types of pets, please contact host directly for approval.
Do not mess with the gas logs pilot light or the switch inside the fireplace. ONLY use the switch on the wall to the right of the fireplace.
Keep the hot tub covered and if you plan to use it, check it when you arrive to make sure the temp is where you want it. It is slow to heat up, especially in the winter.
Most importantly, PLEASE ENJOY our beloved mountainside log cabin. It brings us genuine joy to know you enjoyed your stay, that's our goal. We want you to return year after year.
