The Willows, built in the 1800's, is a beautiful Victorian home with architecture that echoes an era long gone by. Rich in tradition and elegance, The Willows reflects the best of Old New England. This Maine inn, which was previously a Bed and Breakfast, is now available exclusively for weekly vacation rentals.

Great for Maine family vacations, family reunions, weddings or any other special occasion. Nine immaculate and spacious bedrooms adorn this Maine Inn Rental, with queen-size beds accommodate guests; five have private baths, two share an old-fashioned bath with lion-clawed tub and shower and skylight and our two-bedroom suite with adjoining bath is popular. This Maine vacation rental is conveniently located within an hour's drive of Boston, MA, Manchester, NH and Portland, ME, serving all the major airlines. The Willows is non-smoking.

Great family reunion

This house gave us plenty of room to all be together for our family reunion. We enjoyed walks into town, to the lighthouse, along short and long sand beaches and drove the short distance to Ogunquit to walk The Marginal Way. Kevin was a great host and quick to respond to any questions that came up. Beautiful house to enjoy during our long weekend in York, Maine.

Amazing Family Vacation Home

Stunning home located in a beautiful location. Easy to get to, and the owner was extremely reliable and forthcoming with anything we needed. From the period pieces decorating the bedrooms to the modern kitchen which was a dream to gather in our family had a wonderful time just being together away from our everyday lives. Highly recommend this property for large families. (it held all 18 of us with a room to spare for short naps/quiet reading room).

The Willows

Love the place. It is old but I loved the antique part of it. We were all able to stay and be very comfortable. You couldn't find a better area or nicer Landlord. The new kitchen which is where all my family seems to congregate is just amazing! I will surely be going again for our next family event in York!

Family gathering at York beach

We all had plenty of space to feel relaxed. Huge well stalked kitchen ! Nice big dining room which accommodated 16 adults and 4 children and two babies. The porch was a bonus. The easy walk to the beach was a perfect way to get moving. The house is on a busy road but we were able to keep kids on the porch. Just a fun week and perfect for our families

This house has so much charm! The kitchen was get and well equipped. The beds were comfort and rooms were a good size! The front porch was one of our favorite places to gather with the swinging chairs and ocean view. The location was perfect walk to oven and shopping area! This was a cousins girls weekend and with the spacious dinning area all 18 of us were able to sit down and eat together which was nice! Landlord was great to work with!

A Glorious Weekend Away

Our group of 12 loved staying at The Willows for a celebratory weekend. The property is huge and located just steps from the beach. In fact, you can see the ocean from the front porch. Kevin was a gracious host and was able to accommodate all of our needs. The highlights of the property are the newly renovated kitchen stocked with everything you might need, the large common spaces, and the hot tub. There is also a large front porch, backyard space that includes a fire pit, and ample parking for a large group. We would happily return for another stay in the future!

The willows is located in the perfect location. Close to the beach, stores and restaurants. Just be aware that it is on the main road so there is a lot of car and foot traffic. The porch was amazing to hang out on, especially the swinging chairs! Great place to have a cocktail and watch all the people walk by. The kitchen is amazing. It is well equipped with everything you need. The espresso machine makes great coffee drinks. There is plenty of room for a large crowd. We had a great time!

Beach days fun nights

From start to finish our visit to this house has been the best we have had yet! We are a very large group who have been meeting in Maine for over 30+ years. Finding a house that will fit us all and that checks everyones boxes has been hard task but this house pretty much has it all. The kitchen is well equipped, the dining room has more than enough room for all the sit together, the front porch is so relaxing after a fun day at the beach that is a 5 minute walk to. The owner was very understanding and helpful with whatever we needed. All in all a great weekend has had by our family!

Amazing!!

A group of family and friends rented this home for a wedding we had to attend 25 minutes away. The reason I gave the rating of 3 on accuracy of listing….the pictures do NOT do this place justice. Sooooo much better in person!! It was clean. Huge! Most bedrooms have their own bathroom. The kitchen and dining areas are huge! We played board games around a table and there were 15 of us. Do not hesitate to rent this place!

It doesn’t get better!

We couldn’t have been happier with our girls getaway! We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived, and there was plenty of room for us to spread out in this huge, warm, and charming Victorian home. The beautifully renovated kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the dining room tables are spectacular. Homeowner Kevin clearly put his heart into making this place special! As much as we loved hanging out inside, the front porch is magical with comfortable seating (especially the swinging chairs with swinging cup holders!) and views of the beach! It’s just a few steps to the beach, and a short walk to shops, restaurants, and the lighthouse. It doesn’t get better- we can’t wait to return!

The Willows By The Sea

I have been renting for 10 years...Love sitting on porch looking at ocean. All the shops are just a short walk. Owner of this 1881 Inn. updated the kitchen [amazing] new floors on main floor installed new windows and is right now updating heat/ac. Has 9 bd and 7 baths and plenty of parking. [6/8 small cars] There is 1 handicap bedroom/bath on main floor. Dining room seats 20. There will always be minor issues with a building this old. But none of them will affect your visit. Perfect place for a large family all under one roof.

comfort and charm

This is the second time our group of friends rented this property and we love it! The space is so great for a group, with private bedrooms and bathrooms and we love how charming each room is. The newly renovated kitchen is a masterpiece and an awesome place to hangout. Host, Kevin is very accomodating, checked in and made sure we had all we needed.

Thanksgiving In October

This is the 9th year staying here In October..We have a ocean view from porch and a 3 minute walk to Short Sands..There are updates done every year..Owner did an amazing job updating the kitchen...This is a great place for large families...with 9 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms..Someone mentioned not liking owner living on property...[Ground floor apartment overlooking private back yard..You don't know he is there...unless you have problem[we did]..in which he handles ASAP ..Already rented for next year...
