Easy access to beach and a few miles away from downtown, hospital, many restaurants, grocery stores, metro-north station, and I95 & Rt 15. 20 minutes from Yale University.

Grateful for availability

Beds were comfortable, appliances were excellent, bathrooms were fine. One guest has environmental allergies and found the air ducts dirty. The other guests would stay again.

Not really renovated

Definitely not a place to stay if the weather is going to be cool. Not properly insulated and air leaks and around all windows and through the floor. Had to keep the burners on the stove, lit to even make it warm enough downstairs to take our coats off. House sweats really bad and the sunroom area floor was constantly wet from leaks and sweating.

Simple and easy stay

The property was nice and met our needs. The neighborhood was quiet. Our group consisted of 8 adults with three cars. Parking was tight but we made it work. Bedrooms were comfortable. The house has two bathrooms but one is inside the downstairs bedroom which was a little difficult for our group to manage. The furniture downstairs did not accommodate our family. The table only allowed four people and the living room area had seats for six if we sat tight together. We made it work but wished I had asked some of these questions in advance. Overall it was a good stay.

Plenty of space, lacks "homey-ness"

The pictures of the listing are fairly accurate. It is important to note that the living room furniture is outdoor/porch furniture so it's not conducive for hanging around or lounging after the beach but there are no TVs in the bedrooms so bring a book! There were no cleaning supplies and the cooking/eating supplies were very limited. The yard was mostly fenced which was great for doggos and the nearby beach is lovely but there aren't many other amenities in walking distance. If you plan on spending all your time at the beach with your family, this might be a good choice for you.
