A family country farm house is located just outside of Michigan's own German town, Frankenmuth. Frankenmuth offers a variety of unique shops. You will find fudge kitchens, cheese shops, meat markets, clothing shops, taffy kitchens and of course the famous Bronner's Christmas Shop. Zenders and Bavarian Inn are just two of the well renowned restaurants.
heidel haus offers a master bedroom with a king size bed on the main floor and two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with two double beds, on the upper level. You can sleep 8 individuals. It has two full baths on the main level for the comfort of all the guests. Because heidel haus is the typical farm house, it offers not just one but two living rooms and a room with a full size pool table. heidel haus offes a huge fully equipped kitchen. You can comfortably cook for and entertain numerous individuals. The kitchen has an electric stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, mixer and all the dishes, silverware, pots and pans you would ever need. The yard is landscaped with mature trees and lots of lawn for adults and children to play or just sit outdoors and enjoy the view.

Great stay!

Mike was responsive and so polite. We had a great stay and he kept the driveway salted for us Floridians. Great house and loved the history on the walls and the farmhouse feel. Everything was great!

Cozy Large Farmhouse

Everything was just wonderful and the house was warm and inviting. Felt like a lot of thought was put into ensuring everything was available-as if home. Large enough that everyone had their own space. Very close to town and stores, as well dining. Would recommend for a casual relaxing stay.

Beautiful Farm House

This is our 3rd time staying at the Farm House! We love the location and the house provides everything needed to settle in as a home away from home. The host is amazing and quick to respond. We plan to be back next year!

Family Trip

Everyone from my 78 y.o. dad to my 21 y.o. nephew enjoyed the stay. It was a great home base for our trip to visit Frankenmuth, and it reminded me of my Grandmother's old house and decor! Would definately stay here again.

Anniversary Getaway

Once again, we truly enjoyed our second stay at this amazing property. Such a peaceful calming location that provided my husband and I much-needed respite. I highly recommend this property for couples, family and any other groups that just need a quiet getaway that’s close to a very fun city.

It was a nice place to stay away from the busy town activities. Although there was a lot of traffic noise from the highway out front, the house sits back away from the road so it wasn't a big issue. The house is full of old/antique furnishings.

Quiet large farm house just minutes north of Frankenmuth. Very clean. We didn’t want for anything. Cooked breakfast. Spacious kitchen to host friends and family. Owner was friendly and gave great first day and exit instructions. Check in and check out were easy. Would consider renting there again. Highly recommend.

Lovely Farmhouse

Heidel House was great. They do need to replace the mattresses and pillows, as some other reviewers have noted. And make sure the upstairs AC vents are open and not blocked by furniture to help keep it cooler for sleeping.

Made AWESOME Memories

If you want to stay someplace where you get the true feeling for the larger area, and not just new or revamped Frankenmuth, then stay here and get cultures in this community. This place has it all, to take you back and feel at home if you haven't been back in decades. A true charm, well maintained, and Fireflies 💛 have friends come to you and comfortably visit instead of running around like a chicken with it's head cut off, running around the slaughter house 🔥🐥🐓

Time capsule.

This is the cleanest home ive ever seen. Ive stayed in dozens of vrbos. Learned the owner is my second cousin! The home is definitely dated. However. It is very cozy and exceptionally clean. Pictures and in person are very different. It was a wonderful home.

Out of the way, yet close enough

This property is "away from it all", but just close enough to town you don't feel out of touch. Being an old farmhouse, this home has an odd layout, but it was workable. It also smells like an old farmhouse, again, not a deal breaker. The property owner was not overly communicative, as they don't live in state. Any issues with the property are taken care of by someone he hires. (I know this, as I was charged quite a large fee for something that his help found broken after our stay, that no one in our family was near. I digress...) Overall a cute place, a lot of outdoor space.

Country Living in the North

This is a nice property with a great host. It’s a little farther from Frankenmuth than expected (you can’t walk to town). It also does not have a Keurig so be prepared to make pots of coffee. Overall we really enjoyed it.

Perfect place to rest and relax.

This beautiful home was warm, welcoming and so very clean. We loved looking around the well groomed yard and enjoying the history. A quick trip to Frankenmuth and all needed stores nearby make this the perfect destination.

Home away from home

The farm house has become our home away from home when we need to come in from Kansas to visit our family in the surrounding areas of Saginaw and Flint. My kiddos snuggle in and LOVE being here. We have stayed multiple times and appreciate the tender loving care and history of this wonderful farm house.
