This is a duplex. Each side has private entrance and screen porch with privacy patio curtains. It is completely private from the Side B.

Enjoy a perfect beach getaway in this wonderfully restored and renovated Jane Coslick Design cottage. Great location in the historical North end near the Lighthouse and next to million dollar houses on Officer's Row.
You will be transported back in time to a carefree feeling with the vintage furnishings and happy colors. Everything is top quality and comfortably thought out. The master bedroom with a queen bed opens onto the main bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds, cozy and built nook style under great large windows. There is a 1/2 bath off the kitchen. A large open kitchen and living/dining area are great for the family's time together, making great memories. The large side screened porch is a wonderful respite for an early coffee, perfect lunch and dinner spot on the picnic table with the BBQ right outside, and a great place to nap and read. You will never want to leave!
There is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water which opens right into the main bath, perfect for a shower anytime and wonderful to wash off the sand from a day at the beach.
Walk, run or bike around the paved path in the park right behind the cottage. The kids will love the playground at the far end.
2 Flat screen Smart TV's with cable and wifi connected for Netflix, Amazon, etc.
Washer and dryer are provided so you can pack light with no worries.

Tybee Getaway

The house was very nice and came with most of the kitchen supplies that you could need. Loved the back porch area and actually got engaged while sitting on the porch swing! The only downside to the house is that the floors were a bit dirty and dusty.

Great place close to the beach!

We enjoyed our stay as best we could. Got more of a hit from Helene than expected and lost power and cell service. Evelyn contacted me as best as possible and was helpful and refunded the part of our stay when we left early due to the hurricane. We hope to return again when the weather is more hospitable.

Cute Stay Close to Lighthouse and Fort

Property is an easy walk to the beach access, to the lighthouse, the park, and the fort. Everything else is an easy bike or golf cart ride away. This unit is the front part of a house and we never heard the guests in the back from inside the house. Outside was a different story though. The two porches (theirs and "ours") are right next to each other and their parking area is right next to "our" porch. So, we could hear them and vice-versa easily while on the screened porch. They weren't loud, just that close. There are curtains on the porch which mostly give you privacy visually, but it's not the audio privacy you'd have in a house if you rented the entire thing. Decor is cute and as the listing photos show. Bright and fresh. All of the amenities were not there or fully functional (minor things that did not detract from our experience but might yours.... Beach chairs, fireplace, shampoo/conditioner to make the main ones). I let the host know about everything so maybe it'll be great if you book. Parking is in the grass or on the street. We parked in the grass and ended up with a flat tire. It could use a good deep clean inside and out. Bring your own food storage containers if you plan on cooking. Checkout tasks were minimal which was nice. Overall a great stay but I probably wouldn't stay here again... too many other great options.

Seaside Delight!

Our stay was everything we hoped for! What an adorable cottage by the sea, the location was perfect! Walk to beach, lighthouse and restaurants. Truly an enjoyable stay in Tybee Island!

Perfect Space for Family Getaway

Fantastic

This little cottage was perfect - exactly as described. It is super charming, clean, so comfortable, very well-equipped (no food stuff though, you’ll need to bring basically all food - spices, condiments, etc), super close to the beach, and in a cute neighborhood. We absolutely loved this place and Evelyn was great and super responsive to any questions. The island is also great. It was HOT while we were there, so were glad we took Evelyn’s suggestion and rented a golf cart. It was fun, convenient, and made the whole island so accessible. The beaches were fantastic. Bring or rent an umbrella (it’s hot), but Evelyn’s chairs are great. The ocean temp is so warm it is amazing - I spent a lot of time in the ocean (we’re from NJ and I typically can’t get In the cold ocean until late July - and it’s NEVER as warm as it was in Tybee). Oh, food is great too. We loved the casual vibe, but great restaurants (good recs from Evelyn). This was a wonderful, relaxing vacation for us! Evelyn’s place is fantastic and Tybee is a great little Island - oh and it’s so close to Savannah (30 mins). We met friends there for dinner and drinks one night. It was so easy and delightful.

Perfect Cottage for our Special Moment

This cottage was perfect for our special occasion. It was so welcoming when we arrived. The screened in porch was great to wake up to and just go sit and enjoy the morning. It is located a perfect distance from the beach. We would definitely stay there again and I recommend others to enjoy it as well.

Historic cottage well supplied and artfully decorated.

Wonderful older neighborhood near North Beach and neighborhood park. Great place for biking before And after beaching. Duplex worked well for 2 sisters in each side. Enjoyed our porch time, too.

Exceeded Our Expectations

We had an incredible 2-week vacation on Tybee Island and the Cottage on the Green A certainly exceeded our expectations!! Our host Evelyn provided us with great recommendations on restaurants, local attractions and places to go and we enjoyed everything she recommended. The Cottage was a very convenient 5 minute walk to North Beach where we saw an incredible sunrise! The North Beach Bar & Grille was a great place to eat and enjoy some beverages after spending some time on the beach. We rented a golf cart for 14 days and we were so glad we did because it allowed us to experience the whole island and it was fun to drive on the 2-lane roads. We also rented bikes for a day to tour the island. The Cottage was cozy, clean and quiet and we would highly recommend this Cottage and its location.

Super cute cottage

This is the most precious cottage! I have stayed in several places on Tybee and this by far is my favorite. The location to the beach great also. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Tybee Time

Thank you for a great week. Tybee never disappoints and this cottage was perfect for 2 friends. A screened porch is a must and we enjoyed the porch daybed swing and listening to the cicadas at night. The outdoor shower was absolutely wonderful after a day at the beach. Beds were comfortable and the cottage could not be any cuter. Had everything we needed. Thank you! Would not hesitate to book again!

My daughter and her family live in Savannah and we vacationed on Tybee Island for several years. After staying in this location on the island, I knew this is where I wanted to invest. I am so glad to have found this historical building.

What makes this property unique

When I saw this cottage right on a park, I was smitten right then. I knew immediately without even going inside that this was the one for me. The location by the park and so close to the beach make this the perfect spot.
