This is in a campground, after all...

On the outset, this is a really cute property, however, when we got there, we found that it was very dirty outside, and only marginally clean on the inside. Yes, this is a campground, so, we should have expected a non-hotel-like experience, but, this was pretty disappointing. It just feels like lazy neglect. Some electrical outlets weren't working, many lightbulbs were burned out, the shower faucet isn't installed properly, so, getting the right temperature is difficult, the drying rack for the dishes was dirty, the front door, deck, and doormat were all muddy, lots of spiderwebs, the pots and pans were greasy, there are no shades on the loft windows or in the bathroom, so, privacy isn't very good when you'd really like it, the ladder to the loft is sketchy... the list goes on. When we arrived, the air conditioner was running, but, it was still really hot inside. The air conditioner was filthy, so, who knows when the filter was changed last. Then, later, we discovered that the radiant heater was on full blast - not only was it on, but, it was turned up ALL THE WAY. No wonder it was hot in there. So, we turned all of it off and opened the windows and things were fine. Then, we tried to get on the Internet. It was VERY slow to connect and frequently dropped. With a thorough cleaning (dusting, spiderweb nuking, cleaning the tops of things like baseboards, electrical outlets, moldings) and a good exterior power wash, this would actually be pretty nice.
