Situated next to hundreds of acres of desert preserve with access to trails through a forest of Joshua trees and junipers, this is your home base for exploring the backcountry of Joshua Tree National Park while being only a short distance to Downtown Joshua Tree and Pioneertown.

This rustic, spacious, newly built cabin sits next to a one-hundred-year old water tower (a true historic landmark of California). The cabin was constructed in 2018 by the reputable architectural firm Hundred Mile House. This quiet and truly wild desert setting of the cabin makes gazing upon the milkyway a favorite activity with guests. Guests can relax under the stars on the 2.5-acre property and experience dramatic views of the surrounding city lights, boulder-strewn mountains and dense Joshua Tree forests, as well as be greeted by an abundant of wildlife and perfect solitude.

Kitchen: The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything that guests might need to prepare their own meals, and a large wooden dining table to enjoy them at. Barbecue grill for cooking up al fresco meals is available for guests, as well as picnic tables, and propane fire pit. (Bench/chair seating for 8+; 5 hammocks; BBQ grill w/propane provided; outdoor string lighting; Dense natural foliage of Joshua trees, mature juniper and large yuccas within the landscape).

Stayed during mid-March

Stayed during mid-March. The property is excellently furnished with all the amenities. It was very clean and has great views of the mountains. The hammocks are great for a nap after lunch. The location near the park and Yucca Valley town is great, but still feels somewhat secluded. Be prepared to drive on dirt roads to get there.
