Difficulty getting into cabin

Nice location and clean property. Keypad was not working when we arrived, and it took over 2 hours to finally get the code for the key lockbox. By the time we got in we basically lost our first night, had spoiled groceries, etc. Kitchen was not well stocked as advertised (no dish soap, only one wine glass, etc) Neighbor had aggressive dogs that would bark/stand in front of our car when coming and going. A/C didn’t seem to be functioning, and wouldn’t reach the temps we were setting. A disappointing experience for our first wedding anniversary, but we still made it a nice time. There are some nice hikes nearby, and we enjoyed sitting on the swing and using the grill

Truly a fun place

I took a long weekend trip with my 8 year old daughter. I allowed her to pick the house this time. We chose the area because I wanted to do some hiking on the Appalachian Trail, as well as some of the other local attractions. She wanted a treehouse with a hot tub. Over all, it was a fun place. Good location: far enough away from the touristy action, but close enough to go into town as well as make it to the trail heads. The only hiccup was that the contract spells out being charged for damage or broken item as well as stained towels. Some of the dishes were already cracked and close to breaking, and no kitchen towels were provided, only white bath towels. The little bean bag chair also had a hole in it where the styrofoam balls were coming out. Thankfully, we did our best to be gentle on the dishes and use paper towels instead of bath towels in the kitchen. And, I just asked my daughter to leave the bean bag chair alone.
