The house is absolutely delightful, with numerous charming details. The property itself is breathtaking and peaceful. Communication with Kelly was smooth and prompt. It’s conveniently located within an hour of Acadia, Bar Harbor, and several other towns. The only problem we faced was that my Android phone's directions kept leading us to a house down the street, although the iPhone directions were spot-on.

A beautiful cottage and lovely hosts

We had the best time here. The cottage is clean and very well-kept, and Kelly and Greg are sweet and helpful. The pickle ball court and garden are an added plus. We loved the homey, summery atmosphere of the cottage and warm welcome we received. And close to Acadia! We’d definitely recommend staying here for anyone considering this property. Thanks Kelly and Greg!

A peaceful resting place

We loved staying here! It was very clean and far enough from the hustle of Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, but close enough we were able to drive to both each day. We had all we needed for our stay here, and even a few extra treats! Kelly was attentive to any of our extra needs and feedback. We would definitely stay here again!

A Welcoming, Attractive, and Peaceful Setting

A very beautiful and peaceful setting; the cottage and the surrounding property. Our hosts Kelly & Greg were very attentive and were timely in responding to all questions prior to and throughout our stay. They both are very pleasant and very approachable. The whole family including their lab, Reme were very welcoming. We are hoping to soon return for another stay!

About the host

Hosted by Kelly Fitzpatrick

Host profile image
Greg and Kelly spend time playing pickleball and maintaining their 70 acres of organic gardens, fruit trees, fields and woods. Their lab, Reme, roams the property and loves having guests. Kelly is a Mainer and Greg originally from NJ>

Why they chose this property

When Kelly found this property in 2009 it was undeveloped and full of blow downs and stumpy trees. She saw the potential and convinced Greg this was their forever home. All these years later they have a guest house, garden shed, main house and barn! And of course a pickleball court. Kelly spends time with organic vegetable gardens and Greg mows the lawns and fields and all maintains all the buildings.

What makes this property unique

We have beautiful sunsets, panoramic hills, lots of wildlife and abut a 6000 acre conservation trust.
