Positives: Walkable to train station and Hartsdale center. Comfortable bed. Found space heater for bathroom - essential bc bathroom has no heat. Coffee, hot chocolate, dry cereal. Gas fireplace if want more warmth. After the very miserable start of our stay (see below), Joseph tried to be accommodating when the coffee maker did not work until we got it to work again.
Negatives: Could not get into unit after arrival at 11 pm because owner failed to provide complete and correct instructions for using key pad; very dark so could not see well; extra key in lock box was iced in and not removable; owner became combative and made false accusations upon his inability to instruct how to properly operate the keypad. Highly stressful and unpleasant start to the stay!
Owner (Joseph) clearly is not familiar with the apartment, or what is in the unit and where things are.
Shower stall is tiny - if you’re an average large American, you will not fit!
Studio type room. Nice location and easy access to train and other little towns. There is a diner called The Fountain that is a great atmosphere, good food (I recommend the blueberry pancakes) and a super friendly staff. The studio had comfortable beds but the pillows were way too hard. It clean except for the used soap left the in shower. We had to move the queen size bed so the TV could be seen. When we arrived the room was hot. We turned on the AC, left to eat and when we came back, the room was still hot. Fortunately the weather was cool, so we bought a fan and placed it in an open window. We left the fan for any future quests. If you are curvy the shower will be hard to move around in. It is very small. There was a lot of noises from the upper level and some weird tapping noises at night sounding like someone was tapping on something metal. Everyone has their own experiences, this was just mine.
Great trip. We went 2 nights to visit the neighboring town of Sleepy Hollow. The room was perfect for the two of us. We didn’t spend much time in the apartment, however the time we did spend there was pretty flawless.
The host also has added some quaint accommodation to the studio that were cute like instant oatmeal, cereal, utensils and paper plates, etc.
2 downfalls: 1. the bed definitely has a dip in the middle of it. 2. If you’re a larger person the ceilings are not very high and the shower/toilette is a tight squeeze.
We would stay again!
Little studio was very clean. The little amenities were a very nice touch. The shower is very small and im only 5'0 so that gives you an idea of the turn around space. Also, the washer and dryer were acticely being used and at 10:30pm I was startled awake by the end of cycle buzzer (laundry is in the next room over). Other than that a nice location for where me and my son were visiting!
We were traveling for a wedding & This was the perfect location to crash after a long day of festivities. It was very thoughtfully stocked up & the location was great! Walking to Starbucks is always a plus :)

A great option for a base to explore the area. We walked to breakfast at a local diner; a treat we can't do at home. Very easy to communicate with. Worked oerfectly for our needs.
The place was clean and functional. Everything was true to the listing. The location was convenient to Central Ave and the highways. While this trip only consisted of my daughter and myself as a woman married to a man who is 6’3, I could not help but thinking that my husband might of had an issue feeling comfortable since the place has low ceilings. It was not an issue for either myself, being 5’8 and my daughter who is 5’4 though.Other than that side observation, it was a wonderful place to stay.

The Cozy Studio is just that. A clean Cozy Studio with everything you need for your stay. Inside has all you need to start your trip. Parking is easy. They have a garage in the front where you can park your car and block the garage with no hassle. The street is tight, so make sure you get your car close to the garage as you can. But you are guaranteed that spot when you come home, which is great. You’re centrally located between White Plains and Yonkers. White Plains is beautiful. It’s like a mini city. They have plenty of shopping, great restaurants and bars and a movie theater and a place called the city center. in Yonkers, you have the Yonkers Raceway and Empire casino. You also have the Bronx zoo and the New York botanical gardens a 20 minute drive away. Metro North in walking distance or quick 3 to 5 minute drive the train ride to New York City is approximately 55 minutes takes you straight into Grand Central station. In Rye, New York about a 20 minute ride you have Rye playland and beach located on Long Island sound. Rye Playland has one of the oldest wooden roller coasters in the country. The owner is extremely kind and very easy to get a hold of case of emergency. My wife and I will definitely look into booking this when we are up there again.

This property is a great value being clean, cute, abundant amenities, and less than a mile from the Hartsdale train station. There are not sidewalks everywhere, but if you are agile and alert, you can easily get to the sidewalk on Central Park Ave which is a short walk from the property. Hosts are kindly communicative. While on the smaller side, this property is a great value and definitely worth the stay!

We called it a Hibbit house because it is so cute and small but just large enough and better than a hotel room but with all of the amenities of a hotel including coffee creamer fridge microwave. Huge patio. Comfy bed with wonderful bedding and pillows. Shower is tiny and ceilings are low so not good for six footers plus. My husband is 6’(“ and he made it work. Great place. Immaculate and well decorated. Thanks Joseph for. Wonderful stay.
