This light and cheery log cabin sits just above the historic Stowe Village in one of the most desirable Stowe locations: Stowe Hollow.
In addition to its great location, it has heart pine flooring, tastefully decorated bathrooms, and two full-sized living rooms, that are comfortable for both adults and children. Most importantly, the home maintains the romantic, antique feel of the true log home experience with a touch of Nantucket cottage thrown in. All in all a warm and happy home for a great vacation.

Perfect location - plenty of space for large family!
Loved our stay! Really close to town and the mountain for skiing. Lots of bedrooms and great basement bunk room with pool table.

Great stay, great location!
Really close to downtown Stowe! Lots of places to sit outside or inside with your family and friends and tons of room for sleeping. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a place near Stowe!

Family friendly rental
The house was exactly as listed and provided plenty of room for our group of skiers! We enjoyed the large and plentiful dining space. The kids particularly enjoyed the finished basement. The sauna was great after a day of skiing.

Delightful experience
We recently stayed at this location and it was a delightful experience. The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by nature’s serenity. The property was impeccably clean and a charming water stream added to the peaceful ambiance. It is a perfect spot for a quiet and relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!

Shockingly Nice!
There was about 8 of us who came up for the road race and had a lovely time. The house was great. Sauna was beautiful as well as the yard. Great kitchen for family meals, it had everything we needed. Douglas was a wonderful host, we would love to rent this place for the race again next year!

Our group of 9 enjoyed the well-appointed, rustic but cozy house and the size of the property. There was plenty of space for everyone and the location is great, quiet but very close to Stowe village. Despite the rain, we had a fabulous Labour Day weekend and we're hoping to be able to return next year!

Rustic Stowe at its best!
Even better than the pictures. So much space and close to everything Stowe has to offer. You can even walk to the Pinnacle from there. Reached out once during the stay and the host was terrific and quick to address our question. 100% would stay at again. Everyone in the group was over the moon with the house.

Great location and super comfortable house
This property was fantastic for a small gathering of friends and family. It is deceptively large and sleeps a good number comfortably, with an expansive great room and two dining areas inside. Very close to Stowe village and Stowe mountain.

Great Location
We had a great stay. The house was in a great location where we could easily drive to the mountain for a day of skiing and also downtown Stowe and Waterbury for other activities and restaurants. The house was very cozy and we loved the log cabin look. The large dining room table was perfect for board games for our group.

Very spacious and well equipped
The place is located very close to center of the town and about 15 minutes from the ski resort. Douglas is a great owner which was available for all the questions. Will stay again.

Family gathering brought 7 of us together. More than enough room for our group. Close to Stowe village without the chaos. Quiet. Clean. Douglas was great- very communicative. Would absolutely recommend this place if you're going to stowe.

LARGE HOME HUGE PROPERTY
Both the house and the property were massive and close proximity to the heart of Stowe. The check-in process was super easy and the owner responded to every question very quickly. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking equipment .The owner was very accommodating for me and my family, even providing some extra time for checkout with the late flight. I highly recommend this property.

Family stay to attend wedding
We stayed in the log cabin to attend a family wedding in the summer. It had plenty of space for the 8 adults, and was centrally located so that everywhere we needed to go seemed to be a short 15min drive away! Douglas was very flexible with check in and check out and when we needed something (a kettle) it was even delivered to our door! Thanks!

Cool cabin
We were a group of 6 old friends on an annual ski trip. The house was bigger than we needed but it was nice to have the extra privacy. Kitchen was well stocked plenty of plates and utensils. Comfortable living room to watch football after skiing .Beds were comfortable too. Location was great just a few minutes to town and the breweries / restaurants but it’s on the other side of the town away from the mountain.( 20 minutes to mountain). It’s a really cool rustic log cabin. We’d love to come back!

Can I only give it 5 stars? Should be more.
The house was better than we expected, the pictures don't even give the size justice. Plenty of space for all of us. The beds were very comfortable. The over all feel of the place felt like you were home instead of at a rental the perfect mixture of rustic with a modern feel. Location is amazing, quiet area just on the out skirts of Stowe very peaceful and everything is just a short ride away. The owner Douglas is great, I had questions and he answered everything quickly and fully even to the point of me asking about the paintings on the wall. It was a wonderful experience and will definitely rent the place again in the future. One piece of advice I would give anyone renting here in the summer is take a day and cook out and enjoy the yard highly recommend relaxing with your feet in the brook.

Nice log cabin style ROOMY home everything we expected. Small issue with no hot water on arrival contacted host and he sent service tech over and within 1.5 hrs problem fixed. Unexpected things happen in any home but the way This Host responded was Fantastic, Sign of a responsible and caring home owner/host. Was nice to have a place where out of town relatives could relax together in beautiful comfortable setting and at a very reasonable price. I would enjoy to stay in ANY of the places This host owns, Enjoyed our conversations on phone found you a very pleasant person that really cares about people staying in your property. HIGHLY Recommend this host for your Vacation Stays in the Stowe, VT area

Amazing log cabin with stream
We had an amazing stay at this unique quaint log cabin surrounded by trees and a stream running through the property. We also had fun playing pool and corn hole. Douglas was easy to get a hold of if we had any questions. Can’t wait to come back!
