Disappointing

We did not stay. Host was not ready for us, totally surprised by our arrival. Property was unkept. Host told me he would make sure I received my full refund.

Expensive mistake

I stalked hotel vacancies for a few hours and finally found one (all hotels were sold out in the lower mainland that weekend). The front door was extremely dirty. There were no screens on the windows so we couldn’t open them without bugs coming in. The house smelled quite strongly of marijuana. We really couldn’t stay and feel comfortable in any way. I was grateful a hotel room became available for us to move to.
