About this property

It’s a Shore Thing Rental

We are very excited to share with you, our completed cottage! Built in 2023, this modern fully furnished cottage is a little oasis in a small fishing community. We can't wait to share our little piece of paradise with you while you enjoy your stay at It's A Shore Thing. This cottage will not disappoint. Its cozy, comfortable and relaxing. By the harbor, you will enjoy the salt water & air as you watch the boats pass by. Its a very clean, quiet environment and you can make wonderful memories.
The main room has a cathedral ceiling, open concept living room and kitchen. The hallway runs down to two private bedrooms. Each room has a new queen size bed and mattresses for a comfortable night sleep. The bathroom has a walk-in shower with a separate soaking bathtub. There is a washer and dryer that can be used during your stay. There is also a dishwasher. The patio has 2 adirondack chairs, and a weber barbeque on the deck . We have installed the hot tub, with a privacy gondola surrounding it. The fire pit and free firewood a set out to enjoy. The wharf is a beautiful spot to enjoy your coffee, reading a book or just taking in the view. You may be interested in catching a few fish while enjoying your stay here at our place.
We also have provided a variety of outdoor games as well as a few board games inside including a crib board made by our neighbor next-door. He crafts them and sells them if you’re looking for a local gift idea there beautiful. They will have full access to the entire building inside and out of this property. Wharf & shore access is included. Sea kayaks and paddle boards are available for your use. We ask that kayaks and paddle boards are placed back up on the storage racks when not in use. As the tides can shift. If using our open water sea kayaks, we ask that you wear a personal flotation device, and use these at your own risk.

We live next door. We are very friendly couple that love to interact with our guest. If there’s something you need and we can help provide, just give us a call. Our phone numbers are provided inside in the guest booklet. My husband is bilingual French first language. I speak only English. we have two daughters who are also bilingual growing up in this beautiful little bilingual French community. The neighborhood you are about to visit is a beautiful small fishing community Residents are always there to help people, we love to share their stories on the island and communicate with guests in anyway they can . If you have a question somebody will guide you in the right direction and be more than willing to help you out. Living on the water there’s so much beauty to see on this Island and on the shore, hiking trails that you can adventure to from this property. Its easy to comminute on this island. You will need a vehicle or use a bike or kayak, or tie your own water craft up at our private wharf to enjoy when staying here with us. There is a local Cat Mobile van that can be booked for transportation to and from most events. If you want more info please send me a message and I will get it for you . We make our living fishing and when were available my husband can also add on at an extra cost a boat tour of our fishing grounds . If this is something you are interested in while here.
