This was a great place to stay for our annual family ski trip. The lodging accommodated our group very nicely. Plenty of space to spread out for conversation and the large dining table was wonderful for meals and games.
Great cabin! Easy process and host was great. The Family went up for a ski trip and we had lots of snow, while we were on the mountain they plowed the drive and walk.
We had 3 families stay for a ski trip to Wolf Creek. The house worked out great! A little far to drive to get to the resort but I think that is standard for Wolf Creek. Plenty of space. All of the amenities worked out great including the hot tub, grill, kitchen, etc.
Recommended!
It was a perfect house for our group. We had 11 dirt bike riders and 2 of our wives, a 3 year old and a 10 month. Having 4 showers was great and being able to cook meals was perfect. Note there is no whisk so gravy and scrambled eggs were a bit harder.
It was actually a great wonderful experience I had up there it was my first time on vacation ever I
Everything was wonderful there and I would take another vacation there the view is beautiful quiet

Disappointed
Lacked maintenance, Front screen door bent and would not close. Missing screens on some windows. Arcadia screen doors would not stay in the track. Barbecue equipment would not operate without leaking propane. Shower doors opened inward making entry difficult. Upstair mstr bdrm fan wobbled badly. Upstair bedroom TV on chest of drawers not secured and wiring a mess. Exit door on second floor hard to secure and lock.
Had everything we needed, plenty of space with all of the bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils. Hot tub was wonderful after the long days on the slopes. Owners were very accommodating to our requests and responded promptly to our messages. Would recommend this place to anyone with a large group needing a great place to stay in Colorado!
This property worked well for our group. We had a total of 3 families. Total number was 15 people. Rooms were spaced really well and allowed us some space to unwind. Bathrooms were large and well stocked. We had an issue with the gas fireplace in the master bedroom on lower floor the first night. Turned out to be the remote. Was replaced the following morning. Had an issue with hot tub, Beau Meyer realty was very responsive and came on site and drained and recharged tub. Water was warm, but not hot. Location worked well for us as we skied at Wolf Creek during the day . Would recommend this property for large groups. As long as you can reach Carrie, you should be fine. The trash is a bit of a hassle, but understand due to abundant wildlife in area.

Need better communication
We got this property because we had 15 people and two small dogs. It was a little inconvenient when we had to take the dogs out to do their business early In the mornings. All but one of the bedrooms are on the third floor. We had a few issues with the bed in the master being replaced with a new one. Twice during our stay our bed was leaning up against the wall. A new one was scheduled to be delivered three times, but was never actually delivered.
One day, one person in our group stayed at the house for the day and he heard someone downstairs thinking it was one of us. It was, in fact, a guy coming to look at the hot tub. The hot tub was filthy so we had no intentions of using it. We were not aware that anyone would be coming to look at it, so you can imagine our friend when he seen a guy at the bottom of the stairs when he went to look.
The heat is also very confusing. We weren’t really sure how to control it. Some rooms were so warm it was difficult to sleep and some were freezing. A little sheet with instructions would be a nice addition.
Also, the shower doors in two of the bathrooms open the wrong direction. You have to open the door inward, reach around the door to turn on the water, then squeeze into the corner to shut the door. Very awkward!
I would really suggest better communication from the property manager. The house was definitely large enough for our group to stay comfortably. We also liked that we were able to bring our dogs.
If a piece of furniture doesn’t need to be replaced during your stay, a maintenance guy doesn’t show up without knowing, and you can figure out how the heat works, this would be a great property to rent for a large group.
Everything was great! I wish their were more seats in the living room however, because we had 10 people and could only fit 8 around the table. The hot tub was amazing!!
Great place to stay and enjoy with a large group. Everything was clean We all enjoyed the hot tub after skiing each day. The bunk room was great for all the kids to be in one place.
Great spacious cabin for large groups. Cabin was clean and cozy with an awesome balcony. Beds were comfortable and hot tub felt great after playing golf all day long. My only criticism would be that the shower heads need to be replaced they had alot of calcium build up on them so you were “chasing” the water but it was manageable.
Stay was amazing loved it!! Only thing was picnic table is broken that’s it but amazing House!

Do Not Rent From Beau Meyer
Drove 16 hours and paid 4k to arrive at a dirty house. One of the beds looked like someone just rolled out of it, the bathroom had dirty towels and full trash, and the kitchen was dirty with dishes in the sink. Having to wash sheets and clean house before we could go to bed was very frustrating. We finally got Beau on the phone and he said he would check on things and get back with us but he never did. We repeatedly called him and he repeatedly red buttoned us and sent the auto response "can I call you later'". We also sent text messages and left voicemails for Rebecca at the local rental office and NEVER heard from her either. Again, the property was filthy, the grass was high and there was trash in the yard. The sink wouldn't drain in the bathroom either- husband had to eventually take it apart and clean it. The house would be nice if it were maintained properly.
We really enjoyed this house and our neighbors. We had plenty of room for our family group of 15. In past posts I noticed kitchen was not well stocked, but we had no problem cooking for all of us. Grilling on the porch was nice also. Beau Meyer Reality was easy to work with. The only down fall to this house was the fact that we found out there is no riding OHV’s from property. Even though South Fork is OHV friendly, at this current time, there is a city ordinance against OHV’s on the street in the Ponderosa edition. While we were disappointed in that aspect, we loved the house and location well enough to stay and make the best of it!
