This property was exactly as listed, very clean, and very well stocked. We cooked a few nights, and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. The mountain views are beautiful, and Fielding let us know about some enjoyable hikes very close to the property. Would stay again if we ever take another trip to the area!
This place was better than the pictures! After a long day of hiking, this was an oasis of relief. The hot tub was just what we needed. It was clean, spacious, and had so many extras like complementary dairy products: cheese, milk, and eggs.
We absolutely loved this house! It was so comfortable and had all the amenities you could want. The thoughtful little touches made it extra special, and everything was spotless. The hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after long days of hiking in Zion. Highly recommend—would definitely stay here again!
Phenomenal in every way, impeccably clean, comfortable beds and couches for lounging Incredible hot tub with fantastic views. So relaxing under the stars.Host thought of everything with attention to our special anniversary. Best VRBO I've stayed at, qeloved our stay thank ypu!!!wenloved
This house is immaculate and everything you’ll need for a group of 4-5. There are amazing views from the kitchen and roof deck / hot tub too!The host left goodies for us for Valentine’s Day, fresh milk and eggs in the fridge, and was extremely accommodating overall. There’s also a great grocery store just a few miles from the house - great for stocking up on supplies to cook in the awesome kitchen. Thanks Fielding for letting us stay in your awesome guest house!
Great place to stay with short drives to hiking and other activities. Rooftop hot tub was wonderful after hiking and for watching the stars. House is stocked with a lot of necessities for you to use, including farm fresh milk, cheese and eggs!
Beautiful property and location, with more amenities than any other vacation rental we've used. Highlights for us included the rooftop hot tub, which gave a spectacular view of the night sky for stargazing (we probably saw 20 shooting stars!), and the fully stocked kitchen for preparing pre-hike meals. Excellent access to Zion and the nearby points of interest. Owner responded quickly. We would definitely return!
This place was so nice and comfy! All the complimentary things he provided was unexpected and so good! We will definitely try to come back. Thank you for having us!

Super host! New, beautiful home close to Zion, Bryce and Grand Canyons. The hot tub on the upper deck was perfect after a long day of exploring. Thank you so much for your hospitality!
Can’t say enough about how beautiful this home is. It has all the amenities of being at home.Very clean, fresh and with thoughtful extra’s such as fresh local cheese, eggs and raw milk put in the fridge for us! How very thoughtful!! We stayed for 2 nights and loved every bit of our stay here.
The property was wonderful! The location is just what I had hoped for, nestled in amongst rugged mountains. The neighborhood was quiet and the property itself was outstanding. We had a great time!

My husband and I got married in Zion Natl Park and spent a portion of our little honeymoon after at the Zion Edge Retreat and what a retreat it was. It was a gorgeous home, lots of room but the wood burning fireplace made it so cozy. We loved being able to cook meals in the full kitchen but our absolute favorite part was the rooftop jacuzzi with TV. It was our favorite way to spend the evenings underneath the stars. The surrounding neighborhood was so quiet and with the beautiful red rocks as a background, you couldn’t beat the views.
Zion Edge Retreat has became our favorite spot to stay while visiting Zion. We can’t wait to come back!
We stayed at this lovely property for one night. It was very open and welcoming. Plenty of room for me and my adult kids. Would definitely recommend. And definitely want to stay again!
The property was pristine and in great shape, as well as in an absolutely beautiful location! The property manager was very helpful and quick to respond! It is located very close to tons of trails, including Zion National Park. I would definitely recommend this property to all of my friends and family!

An amazing setup. Fully furnished cabin with plenty of space, washer and drier, full kitchen, wood stove, BBQ, and a hot tub. All private. It’s a prefect family get away. It’s way better than a hotel. Gorgeous views, and a great place to stay if you’re checking out Zion. The staff is super friendly and nice. We definitely recommend staying there and plan on staying there again.
We loved our stay here and wish we would have stayed longer but we were only passing through. We will definitely stay again, when we come back for Zion in the future. We arrived later than planned but received a message that the lights were turned on to make it easier to find. The house is very cute and they have thought of everything - wine upon arrival, food in fridge, filtered water, and even an introduction after we settled in. The hot tub on the top deck was just what we needed after a long day of hiking and being on the road. We highly recommend staying here!
This rental is amazing! The top deck was so amazing with the lounge chairs and stunning mountain views. The beds are amazing, I woke up with no back pain.
We loved making banana bread in the full kitchen, and watching movies with the kids on the giant tv. The cabin vibe was so much fun. So much character in this space. This space is a great experience. Im definitely coming back in the fall.
This place had everything and I mean everything. We stayed in 7 bnbs on our trip and this was the favorite. So affordable and It was all brand new! House is beautifully constructed and had everything you could need. (Even a meat thermometer) We grilled outside for dinner, and enjoyed the observation deck it was amazing. Unfortunately too cloudy to see the zoomies or stars but so relaxing after hours of driving. There is something about sitting in a warm hot tub on a cold dark night in the peace in quiet in Zion that is just so magical. Thanks for having us it was great! We will definitely be back again!!

About the host
Hosted by Fielding Barlow
I have lived in the Hildale/Colorado city area all my life.
Why they chose this property
It was my grandfather’s property. I bought it and always wanted to make a cool cabin/man cave/rental in the back that views the mountains.
What makes this property unique
What makes my place better than most is you are surrounded by mountains and have a great view of Canaan Mountain and I built the house/cabin to maximize your view with also real wood interior. And they plan to move the borders of Zions national park literally to my doorstep, that’s why I called it Zion edge. Also there are trailheads less than 10 minutes away.
