Wonderful stay!

Wonderful space for large family/friend group. Barbara was beyond responsive and helpful- loved the pool and outdoor area, great amenities for kids, so much fun here!

Great family vacation home

Our family of 7 adults and 4 kids had a wonderful stay at this home. Very large pool and a full size shuffleboard court outside were a hit! Check-in and check-out times are fantastic, the owner is extremely responsive and a pleasure to work with.

Perfect Girls Weekend

We had a group of 16 friends and family stay for a long weekend, and both the house and Barbara were absolutely wonderful. Great communication, super clean and true to photos, and the heated pool was the highlight of the trip!

A wonderful vacation home

We have had two great family gatherings at this beautiful home. We have been coming the the shores of Lake Michigan for many years now and this is the best place we have found for the 12 of us. This home provides an excellent base. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, it is near to the New Buffalo area shops and restaurants, it has spacious gathering areas, and the large swimming pool provides hours of relaxation and fun. We will keep returning!

Accommodated 8 adults and 8 children ranging from ages 10 to 7 months. The heated pool was a highlight of the trip enjoyed by all. Only a 5-10 minute drive to downtown New Buffalo attraction’s.

This house fits our family perfectly. Large comfortable bedrooms. Secure pool. Kitchen supplies everything we needed. Very clean. Quiet street for the kids to ride bikes. This was our third year and we hope to return.

Perfect for our family of14!

The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook or bake, along with salt and pepper. Plenty of beds and bedding, pool toys, puzzles, books, and 2 refrigerators. Our grown kids and grandkids had a blast playing in the pool and just hanging out and getting to know each other. Thank you Barbara, this was a wonderful vacation home!

Absolutely fantastic property!

We stayed at the property with our new blended families following our wedding this past Friday. Adult children and grandkids. The house was perfect for our group. Beautiful pool at a perfect temperature. Every amenity we could have needed. The owner was easy to reach and work with. I would highly recommend this rental!

Great home away from home visit

We booked here to have a week long 70th birthday celebration for my parents with my siblings and their kids and it was wonderful! Big enough for us to all have our space yet all be under the same roof. The pool, shuffle board and ping pong was a hit for all our ages 70-6. The location was nice and close enough to new Buffalo and Michigan city for other activities and attractions, but you never even have to leave the house they have so much. Only thing we didn’t know before coming was that we couldn’t walk to the beach and no beach access from this house, it’s all rocks and a wooden outlook, which was still nice.

Wonderful Home For a Family Gathering

Our family had a blast at this beautiful home. The seven adults and four kids fit in easily. It was particularly nice to have all 11 of us around the dinner table. Also, the living room had space for readers, a conversation or two, and a board game. Everyone also spent time in the large swimming pool. The pool water was a perfect temperature: refreshing, but not too cold, even after a rain storm. We are already planning on returning next year. The owner provided very informative materials and made everything go smoothly.

4 family getaway

Barbara was a pleasure to work with. She was very quick to answer all of our questions. The home was immaculately clean. It was well appointed with bedding, kitchen items, pool toys, towels, anything you could want for a home away from home. The pool was a favorite of all of us and unfortunately the weather didnt cooperate with us to have a beach day so having the pool was perfect! One of our guests was in a wheelchair and the home was very comfortable for moving around the main level and easy acces to the pool as well. This is my second stay there and we lok forward to coming back.

Excellent House!

This house was excellent and more than I had hoped for! We had 20 people total including an infant, toddler, children, teens and adults. The house was very large and had more than enough room for everyone. The pictures online don’t do it justice! It was well equipped in the kitchen with plenty of dishes, cutlery, pots, pans and anything else you could think of! All the bedrooms were a good size and there were plenty of extras like pillows, fans and blankets. The large laundry room was a plus. The decks and pool area were large and offered plenty of room for everyone. The pool was big and even the adults had enough room to swim and play. The pool heater was great and actually necessary since some of our nights and days were on the cool side. Barbara was wonderful to work with and very responsive to all my questions. My family couldn’t have asked for a better place! I definitely recommend this house!

family birthday and Thanksgiving gathering

More than enough room for everyone. The host was very welcoming.Bedrooms were good-sized and comfy. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking our Thanksgiving dinner and there was plenty of room at the dining table. We enjoyed walks to the beach, the shuffleboard, sat around the fire pit where we told stories and had lots of laughs. Hope we can make it next year.

Relaxing and reuniting

When we first realized the pool was going to be closed during our stay, the grandkids were a little disappointed. We drove down from the U.P. in snow and freezing rain. It turns out it couldn't have been more of a blessing. We spent so much time playing card games, board games, doing puzzles, playing table tennis and shuffleboard. There were so many opportunities provided for fun, family competition that the kids hardly noticed that their cell phones weren't being used. The two teenage girls were very pleased to have their own rooms, the boys enjoyed the bunk-style room and with the family room/ bar/ entertainment room on the lowest level, it made it easy for the early retirees to not be disturbed by the night owls. The home was clean, well provided and in a very safe and friendly neighborhood. My kids and their kids want to start making this an annual reunion. Thanks Barbara, for making this such a wonderful and effortless event. We hope to be back soon and often.
