We do provide the following: Bath towels, hand soap, body wash and shampoo and hair dryer.

GUEST ACCESS:
Bus stops, fast ferry and local supermarket are but a five minute walk away (this is super great if you do not intend to rent a moped). Close to home, you will have the pleasure of exploring Horseshoe Bay and Warwick Long Bay ( 10 min. moped ride, or 40 min. By local bus), Elbow Beach is walking distance (40 minutes if you are in good shape otherwise 45 min).
After a long day of exploring sit and relax in the private outdoor space.
Cook your dinner on the charcoal BBQ while sipping wine and listen to the tree frogs serenade the night away.
Don't feel like cooking there are many Fine dining restaurants close to home: Fourways Inn is just down the street (Jacket for the gents please). The Blu Bar and Grill served up excellent food and has gorgeous views. A five minutes moped ride from the apartment. Dine at Beau Rivage at Newstead and enjoy the stunning view of Hamilton. Also a five minutes ride from apartment.
There are also nice roadside cafes for breakfast or lunch which are very easy on the pocket. Fourstar Pizzas and Grill, Island cuisine to name a few.
The Railway trail is but a 10 minutes walk from the apartment. There you can jog, walk, bike at your leisure and enjoy the peaceful scenery. We rent bike - $15 / day per bike.
Golf courses: There are four golf courses nearby for you to play: Riddell’s Bay, The Belmont Golf Course, the Fairmont Princess Golf Club and the Port Royal Golf Course are all within 10 minutes of the property and each offers its own unique challenge.
Accessing the beaches and restaurants is easy either by bus or by moped. The apartment has easy access to the to ferry which has a direct route to the charming village of Somerset where shops and cafes makes lingering for a while a very pleasant diversion. The remarkable renovated installation at the Naval Dockyard property (a British Navy base built in the early 1820’s) has created a plaza and shopping concourse as well as a series of excellent museums, pubs, artists workshops, book stores and the like as well as the hugely popular DOLPHIN QUEST operation. These shops and museums operations are all neatly contained in spectacularly restored historic buildings dotted throughout a park setting on the furthest west end of the island. Fast ferries and buses depart and arrive from the Dockyard facility all day long. The views from The Commissioner’s House are jaw dropping as you can see from one end of the island all the way to the other, with ocean liners sedately negotiating the Two Rock Passage , the sole opening in the reefs large enough to provide safe access to Kings Wharf in Somerset or Hamilton Harbour. A visit to Bermuda without seeing Dockyard would not be complete.
Daniels Head Beach Park and Somerset Long Bay are quiet beaches you will want to well as The Railway Trail, a meandering paved pathway through the countryside throughout the island you can explore on foot or by moped . The Trail is the land right of way owned by the government for long defunct railway system. No cars or trucks are allowed upon it, so the amble will take you through beautiful park like settings overlooking the water and the interesting homes and gardens you would not otherwise notice.
The City of Hamilton also has lovely places to dine and shop, and in the summer months through to October, Harbour Nights on Front Street on Wednesday evenings is a sparkling outdoor market event. With live music, delicious food and unusual locally made items to buy, the street is shut to vehicular traffic and the better shops remain open. Everyone congregates happily til 10 pm. and then drifts off to window-shop, or investigate the night clubs, bars and cafes. The city is easily reached by bus, ferry or moped, with taxis available to whisk you away home at the end of the evening.

Or first hurricane

We loved our unit. Very nice neighborhood and friendly neighbors. Getting around is a chore. After observing the local cars and especially motorcyclists doind 60 mph on winding hilly two lane roads, we decided it wouldn't be safe for us to rent (it can be frightening to walk). So, its hard to plan to get much done using buses and ferries. And taxi costs are prohibitive. Anyway, enjoyed Hamilton, Dockyard, Crystal Caverns, Aquarium/Zoo, and pink beaches. Missed a day and a half due to Hurricane Lee.

Relaxing

Our apartment was spacious, comfortable, clean, and quiet. We rented an electric car and the charger was there on the property which was a plus. Hosts were very polite and helpful. We were able to walk to the ferry dock from which we went to Hamilton where we shopped, ate lunch, and took the delightful ride back.

Convenient to travel around

This property was so easy to access the main tourist areas on the Island. Lots of information left by the owner about bus and ferry schedules as well as attractions. We did find the cooking tools (pots and pans) a bit lacking but made due. Also, in other VRBO we have stayed at other small amenities such as cooking oil, salt, pepper, spices, tea and coffee, sugar, was provided so travellers are not having to carry those, especially if coming from abroad, were not at this rental. Again, we made due but for future rentals, be aware. Overall, a great stay. Would stay again if we make it back to Bermuda.

Location perfect for public transport

Very easy to travel the island via ferry or bus from this location. Groceries and pizza take out close as well. US and Bermuda currency taken at par. Paid cash for first ferry ride to Hamilton from Darrell’s Wharf then bought tickets there for the rest of the week. Bus schedule is now digital which is not as helpful as paper. None of the stops are numbered so hard to know as a tourist where to get off and what bus route to take. Drivers super friendly and helpful.

Private location

We had a nice time . The bed was comfortable and the bathroom with walk in shower. However i thought it was a private home with this apt. Didnt realize there are 7 apartments in the building. First half of week you could hear the people overyou get up very early walking around ear plugs helped😃 For me i think maybe one of the top floors would be better. For us we brought food and were planning on cooking but not any baking dishes or pans . Also we didnt have a grill that we were planning on using to cook two meals disappointing but we made the best of it. Still the place was convenient and clean

Good layout and location

Location: The location was convenient, as it was close to the ferry stop, bus stop, and grocery store. Communication: Lana was very prompt and helpful with responses. Accuracy of Online Listing: Upon arrival, it was difficult to find the house because there was no house number visible from road, and the house had been repainted a different colour than in listed images (repainted yellow). The interior was true to the listing, and the space was comfortable for us (4 adults). The master bed and the pull-out couch were comfortable to sleep on. Cleanliness: There was a bag of trash left outside and some dishes needed to be rewashed before use. Additionally, the lawn furniture was not well maintained/usable (i.e. no cushions for the metal chairs/recliner, and finish on wood chairs was worn). The house otherwise met expectations (floors and bathroom were clean).

Lovely home in Warwick parish

This apartment is in the lower level of nice old Bermuda home. It opens onto a nice yard with a patio and a prolific loquat tree which provided many loquats for our salads. The apartment is ideally located close to a grocery store, bus stops and ferry stops. It's about a 5 minute walk to the Railway Trail and 20 minutes to the nearest south shore beach. Elbow Beach is about 30 minutes walk, as is the beginning of the Warwick Long Bay series of beaches (in the other direction). The apartment has everything you would need and is in good repair. We quite enjoyed our time here.

Great stay at a great location

We very much enjoyed our stay for four nights in late April. The location was great for us. Short walks to the ferry to Hamilton and to a grocery, which was very helpful for our first day when we were without other transportation. The location was also perfect for relatively short drives to Elbow Beach and Horseshoe Bay, and centrally located for the days that we explored other areas of the islands. At the last minute we decided to rent a Bermi for 3 days and found the parking area and newly installed EV charger very convenient. The apartment itself was roomy, clean, and had plenty of cookware, dishes, etc. for our needs. The king size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom well equipped with double sinks and a large shower. We had the pleasure of meeting Lana when we arrived and she showed us around the unit, gave us some directions to the ferry, bus, and grocery, and answered any questions we had. This is a great place to stay in a great location to explore Bermuda!

A gem!

The apartment was in the perfect location and easily located. It was a really quick walk to the supermarket and ferry. The apartment was very clean with the essentials you need for your stay. I only recommended a window or room fan to used because I don’t always like the AC on. The neighborhoodarea was very quiet and private. I would definitely return.

Bermuda August 2018 trip

Our stay at Lana's was wonderful. The kitchen and bathrooms were in updated conditions. The towel warmer in the bathroom was helpful in keeping our towels dry. The neighborhood was safe and quiet with the tree frogs chirping at night. Lana was very helpful in providing us detailed instructions, island information, contact info, and even helped arrange for a cab to take us to the airport on the last day of our trip. The location of the place was excellent for us (family of 5). It is a 5 minute walk to Darrell's Wharf ferry which takes 15 minutes to get to Hamilton. It is also a 5 minute walk to the #8 bus. Lindo's family supermarket was less than a 10 walk away and was great for us to purchase water and groceries to cook some meals in Lana's kitchen.

Wonderful first visit to Bermuda

Lana was a wonderful host. She even took time away from preparing the apartment for our stay to run us to the beach in her personal car after we arrived early on check in day. The apartment worked perfect for our party of 3. We were able to navigate the island easily using the bus and ferry system. The ferry stop and bus stop were just a short walk from the apartment. The apartment had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. The AC worked great which was a big deal considering how warm it was during our visit. We really enjoyed our visit to Bermuda and look forward to returning.

Dollar for dollar

When confronted with the expense of taking a holiday in Bermuda this rental is the best dollar for dollar option. Located in a near ideal spot to take advantage of what Bermuda offers, you’ll quickly find that you’ve made the best choice. A short walk to every necessity while on vacation. Groceries, dinner out and sight seeing. The biggest expense on just about every vacation is food and transportation. This location mitigates that perfectly. As other reviews have pointed out. Quiet street, yet close proximity to your getting around the islands make for a wonderful experience. I wish them great success and thank them.

Nice place, wish I was back in Bermuda!

The apartment we stayed in was clean and spacious. Liked the king sized bed and the place overall was comfortable. The full kitchen was nice to have. Would recommend this location to others with no reservations. The owner was very attentive and made sure any questions we had were answered. Thanks Lana!

Comfy place to stay!

Absolutely perfect for us... James and I were visiting a doggy friend and his human, and this apartment was 2 houses away from them, so the location couldn't have been better. Lovely home-away-from-home for the week! We especially loved being able to have lazy breakfasts out in our own private outdoor seating area (we live in the UK, so the weather isn't often conducive to outdoor eating). We hired mopeds from Oleander Cycles so that we didn't have to rely on buses etc, so can't comment on that aspect. There's a fairly large supermarket not far away, so that was handy. There's a ferry stop only a few minutes walk away for a scenic trip into Hamilton, and a taxi ride home from the centre was about USD 16 (late night price, possibly cheaper during the day). Chris recommended some locations to visit and activities to try, and all his tips were great... we visited St Catherine's fort right up the top of St George's, Commissioner's House and fort at Dockyard waaay up the other end of the island chain, visits to Elbow Beach and Horseshoe Bay, and went on a 75 min jetski tour with Somerset Bridge Watersports (very recommended!) along with a lot of lazy lunches and dinners out... Bermuda has some great sushi restaurants :) The area is very quiet and safe, Lana and Chris are lovely, and the apartment is comfortable. Lady the dog is a sweet little spaniel, very cute. We absolutely loved our stay and didn't want to come home!!

Very nice apartment to stay in while vacationing in Bermuda.

Our family of 5 stayed here for our vacation. The apartment worked out well for us. We used the buses and ferries to get around the island. Once we figured out the routes and schedules it went well. We relied on the locals to help us figure it out. The apartment is located just outside of Hamilton - residential neighborhood - so you do have to rely on public transportation or a moped to get around. While we were there, there was a 2-day holiday which we didn't know about. Almost all the stores and grocery stores were shut down. A few restaurants were open. The stores on the island close at 5 or 6pm so you have to do souvenir shopping during the day. The taxi driver told us they offer to pick up groceries for you and will also obtain bus passes at no additional charge upon arrival....just have to pay the cost of groceries and passes. We found the locals to be very friendly and 2 people helped us out when we were stuck for a ride. The apt. is well equipped, master bed is comfortable. Pull out sofa and day bed only somewhat comfortable which is typical for those pieces of furniture. May want to pack a portable cooler for walking around/beach. We did drink the tap water at the apt. and didn't experience any adverse effects from it. All in all, a good rental place and would recommend it.

Very pleasant stay in lovely Bermuda!

Our experience in Bermuda was almost perfection, and staying at this pleasant guest apartment was a big contributor! We found everything exactly as advertised, and perfectly suited to out party of four. Our hostess, Lana, was very nice, and offered some good tips for our visit. The ferry to Hamilton was just down the hill, and we found a nice quiet beach about 25 minutes away by foot. The nearby grocery was great, as was the ability to enjoy our morning coffee on the patio. Staying at a place like this, as opposed to a hotel, allowed us to feel like residents of Bermuda...if only for a short while.
