About this property

Located in the heart of Tulsa, this home is perfect for a peaceful retreat for the entire family. Our home sits on almost 1 acre, is a natural habitat for owls and birds and is full of mature trees with a fenced in backyard. Outdoor dogs are welcome, but no cats. Centrally located in Tulsa, the house sits near Expo Square, Promenade Mall, the OU, TU and ORU campuses, The Gathering Place, the Osage Casino, Southern Hill Country club, LaFortune Park and Philbrook Museum. We sit equal distance from St. John and St. Francis hospitals, and are close to other museums, casinos and shopping areas. Tulsa's beautiful downtown (BOK Center, PAC, Blue Dome district, Tulsa Drillers, Courthouse), other golf courses, the Jenks Aquarium and river walk, Gilcrease Museum and the Cancer Treatment Center of America are approx. 20 minutes away.

Fix some meals in the spacious kitchen, relax on sofas and comfortable chairs, and spend quality family time playing board games, cards, ping pong or foosball. Invite friends and relatives over for a formal meal in the dining room. There is a king size bed in the master, a queen bed in one bedroom, full in third and a bunk and twins in the fourth. The big screen TV with cable will give time for a movie at home while burgers are cooked on the grill out back.

The large back yard will give the kids plenty of places to play and parents areas to walk in the serenity of Oklahoma nature.

Holiday Visit

Visiting family in Tulsa for the holidays who live near this house. Place was decorated for the holidays so it made it feel like home. Spacious fenced back yard was perfect for the dog and little nephews to go exploring. Owners of the house live across the street and are very accommodating and had just finished tidying up and putting in a new coffee maker when we checked in. Beds were very comfortable and house is equipped with practically everything we needed. Will visit again

Excellent Stay

What a delightful stay, can't say enough about the house, simply a dream for our family. Our daughter got married in Tulsa and we were able to have all my siblings to stay together...which rarely happens but was a good time for all. Great Stay in Midtown Tulsa

We stayed here for one week while our home was being worked on. This was the perfect short term rental for us (2 adults and 2 kids). Home is very clean and modern with fast Internet and cable television. Everything is as described on this page. The owners are very dedicated to making sure the home fits your particular needs. Location is ideal, right in Midtown Tulsa.

Above and beyond description

Our family, five all in all, stayed at the house for a week to participate in and celebrate our daughters graduation from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa. The house turned out excellent in every way and we were 100% satisfied with our stay. Quiet location yet close to everything we needed, a very homey feeling inside, spacious areas and a magnificent garden. We completely loved it, would absolutely choose the house for another stay in Tulsa in the future and give it our best recommendations. Thanks so much for a great time!

Old and damp

House was in need of rehab. The WiFi didn’t work. Two of our family had to leave because they had to work( they needed WiFi). It smelled musty all the time. There is a dehumidifier in the dining room that we had to empty twice a day. The master bathtub was dirty. A lovely neighborhood.

All that we needed & beautiful neighborhood

The house definitely needs some updating and freshening up — it looks and smells like an older home that hasn't been changed in any way since it was built in the 1960s. Having said that, the house provided all that we needed for our 16-day stay in Tulsa for medical appointments, a graduation, and two surgeries: a spacious home-away-from-home with a full kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of hot water. We would definitely book there again in a similar circumstance... The owners (who very conveniently live across the street) are very nice, the location is ideal, and there's ton of potential for the property.

Like visiting Mom’s house

This property has tons of space inside and outside to gather and to sleep plenty of family members. We loved the foosball and ping pong table, and the beautiful back yard with adequate of seating for eleven. The decor, the wood paneling, and the quaint tile in bathrooms were reminiscent of childhood visits to (nonsmoking) family homes. And yet, modern televisions and kitchen appliances made the living easy. To top it off, the host provided fresh milk, eggs, and OJ in the fridge for our arrival. That was such a nice touch. This is a great house to gather your family.

Christmas In Tulsa

We needed a place to stay close to family in Tulsa for the Christmas Holiday and found this hidden gem. The communication with the owners were fantastic and they actually live across the street from the house. The house is not new, but had a very homey feel to it and was even decorated for Christmas with lights outside, a small Christmas tree in the den and decorations in the house. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The house and bathrooms were very clean. The owners were very quick to respond if we had any questions or needed anything (We locked ourselves out of the house one evening and the owner came right over to let us in). We will look for this house again when we come visit family in Tulsa.

Great Place to For Family Events

Rented home for one week to prepare for and attend a wedding. House worked out great. House is in an upscale and quiet neighborhood. We had access to the two car garage. With four bedrooms, both immediate families of the bride and groom were able to stay in the house. The house is well furnished. The house layout provided space where family members could mingle and have their own space. The house worked out well as a location for a rehearsal dinner, wedding preparation site and bridal party suite. The homeowners were very accommodating, providing a welcome package, additional tables and chairs as needed and other items. If the opportunity presented itself, we would stay at this home again.

Amazing House, Amazing Location in the center of Tulsa.

David and his wife were the best hosts anyone could ask for. The photos on the website does not do this home justice. This home is far better than I expected. The rooms are very large. The beds are so comfortable. The very large tv in the main living area has soo many channels. The children especially loved the game room. So many activities. I had a great time using the BBQ grill in the back yard. The fenced in back yard is the size of a football field. The kitchen has everything needed to cook a large family sized meal. The garage is large and the cookies were fantastic! If you are looking for a rental property for your stay in or around Tulsa I would highly reccomend you contacting David. You will not be disappointed.

Turkey Day Stay

We stayed at this property over Thanksgiving and it was an enjoyable stay. We especially liked that the owner put cute thanksgiving decorations around to make it feel inviting. The backyard is huge with lots of mature trees.

David and Marianne are both educators with four adult children, their spouses, grandchildren and many pets. Soccer and volleyball were major parts of our lives. We are both natives of Tulsa and enjoy sharing our home with friends, family and travelers.
