The studio was very clean and in a great, safe area. We could walk to nearby coffee shops and museums. I would suggest adding some storage in the bathroom and some hooks for coats when you walk in. There is a nightstand on one side, it would be helpful to have another one on the other side. Overall it was lovely.
Everything about this apartment was perfect for us. The location was great and it super easy to walk to many places on Park Avenue and East Avenue. The bed was super comfortable in the shower was great. The kitchen suited our needs for coffee, tea, and warming things up in the microwave. It was nice to have the larger size fridge. we will definitely plan to stay there the next time we come to visit our grandkids!
The Vrbo could not be more perfect! Clean, very cute, and within walking or a short driving distance to many of the main attractions in Rochester! Especially great if you’re planning to visit museums around the city. The bed was very comfortable and on-site parking was convenient.
This was my first Vrbo experience and it was great. The hosts were amazing. The place was beautiful. Rochester was great. If I ever come back to this part of New York, I'll happily stay here again.
This stay was perfect for our needs. It was easy to access, all the amenities were exactly what we needed and the location was perfect. Would absolutely stay here again.
Clean, simple stay. Everything is as advertised. I did not spend too much time in the space and only slept and showered because I was out and about most of the time. However, the place has everything you needed and clean.
The only downside was you can hear everything outside and in the hallways in the morning. But that comes with the territory of an old building. The noise did not bother me, but my noise tolerance is high because I sleep well.
I recommend and will stay again.
We figured being so close in town would mean dealing with city noise, but the neighborhood was very peaceful, super walkable, and convenient for all the sights and activities. Kitchen was fine, owners were responsive, room was very pretty. Had a great stay.
Large older house divided into 6 units. The studio unit we stayed in had everything we needed. Only issue was with parking. Although we had an assigned spot, twice someone from the hotel next store had parked in our spot at night forcing us to find another parking place.
Everything was great about our lodging, all we needed and more! Communication with the host was excellent, I needed a little help with details, all questions answered promptly. The room was clean, upscale, and comfortable. The "extras" made it feasible to use it as our base as we explored Rochester and attended our son and new daughter-in-law's wedding (adequate kitchen, laundry, amenities we didn't have to purchase to use those facilities). We traveled with dogs - hosts were flexible with rules, check with them and be up-front. There's a field behind the museum, close-by, that is set up for dog walking, a huge bonus! I give it an A+
Around the corner is the beautiful walking experience of Rochester's East Avenue, the Eastman House Museum and Archive, and a mere block in another direction is their city's art museum, another feast for the eyes (and the tummy - it has a restaurant!). The onslaught of weddings in the area provided the challenge of opportunistic parkers, beyond anyone's control (just say you're with the bride's family). Amenities are on-site (laundry! Mr Coffee! Microwave-air fryer!), an elaborate grocery is just down the road (another visual road trip treat), and the only challenge with the remodel performed on the Victorian is getting a comfortable air flow, mitigated by provided fans. Would visit here again and use this site in a heartbeat.
