Great little get away.

The host was very accommodating and nice. It was perfect for us to have a little get together for our friend’s birthday. The house was well stocked and comfortable. The next day we went to Maple Grove hot springs which ended up not being terribly far away and a really nice drive.

Great for a relaxing day on the beach!

Great secluded location comfortable beds and great kitchen. Manager/owner is very attentive and helpful. Rental is attached to owner/manager’s house, and RV parked right alongside rental on other side, but didn’t feel cramped or bothered at all. Have a short drive down to the private beach (which is wonderful—highly recommend using the hammocks), where we played in the water with the supplied boat and kayaks all day. Good family spot! Highly recommend!

Family Reunion

Decided to not stay with family this year and it was the best decision ever! The place was perfect, and the hosts were amazing! They had everything we needed to really enjoy our vacation. They provided life jackets, towels and even kayaks and water toys. All you need to bring is your family and be ready to enjoy Idaho living at the best.

So peaceful and just what we were looking for.

I have never done this before so I'm not sure what to say. But the hosts were very friendly and eager to help out if we had any questions or needed anything, especially before we arrived. The location was secluded on a dirt road, which you can still drive a sedan on, but the host was very helpful in providing directions and was very accommodating. Fortunately, we were the only people at the rental, so we had full access to all the toys and equipment. The host privately owns a portion of the lake front, so we were the only people on their side of the lake. It was beautiful!! The facility was very nice and pleasant to relax after being at the lake. It had a wonderful kitchen (missing a few items but we made do just fine with what they had), a great AC, plenty of beds and blankets and towels. We had 6 adults,1 teenager, 2 pre-teens, and one 2yr old. It was reasonably priced so I could afford it on our budget. I didn't have to pay a 5-star hotel price, and I wasn't expecting a 5-star hotel either! It was a great experience and just what we were looking for...the kids had things to do while I relaxed on the waterfront. I was under the impression that you could walk to the lake, and you can but it would be difficult with all your stuff. So, we drove to the private parking area with all our food and stuff for the day. We were able to store the kayaks at the waterfront, which was convenient. All in all, a great successful vacation!!

About the host

Host profile image
We love our guest and we live in the 3 story, while our guest stay in the single level home. We’ve been in hospitality since 2003. We held weddings for 30 years and owned hotels and other resorts and now we step outside to fish, and every night is a campfire and a barbecue. We have several private beach areas. We always throw in extra perks for our guest to help them save money. That’s why we let our guest use our red paddle boat, 2 kayaks and a canoe. We have BLM and Forrest near by within 5 miles.

Why they chose this property

Near the lake and the wildlife, walks along the dirt road or shoreline are relaxing in our country rural area. Where there are more cows than people. There are trees along the shore and that’s my favorite spots near the eagles and sleeping on a hammocks

What makes this property unique

We own many acres of shoreline and have several private beach areas and the house is far enough from the public campers, as well our campsites have some privacy
. We allow weddings. We have a little farm by the house with milking goats. Free range chickens and ducks, further in the pasture there are horses, mules, and 2 llamas. Much wild life. We’ve had large reunions book out everything and we allow guest to book the same day up to 11:30 pm
