great place in every way

I totally enjoyed my stay in this condo. The location and price were perfect. The unit was clean and had everything i needed for a fun week stay in Mexico City. The building was also very secure. The 70's theme/vibe was great. I will be back!

excellent

I would definitely stay here again. The owners (two brothers) are super responsive and responsible and the location is great. Although I'm sure that the apartment is not 1400 square feet (as the ad states), it IS very large, comfortable, and perfect for two to three people. The photos are a very accurate representation of the place you'll find (in all it's 1970s glory!), although one small, separate room is not shown here. Great location, great price, great owners.

Awesome 1970s Time Capsule

Very spacious and comfortable studio apartment. SItuated in Zona Rosa, which is a very lively neigborhood (no security issues, at least during daytime). Owner is super helpful. Highly recommended.

Terrific deal!

My friend and I stayed here for 5 nights recently and had a blast in DF. The place was perfectly located--only blocks from the subway (there is an amazing array of street food vendors right outside the Sevilla station, by the way) and a short walk to several great neighborhoods, like Roma, Condessa and the city center. It's also near the large park with the anthropology museum. Roberto and his brother Eugenio were very accommodating, as our flight was delayed on arrival. They had many maps and tourist guides available to borrow, and also had highlighted things like restaurants and grocery stores in the neighborhood. The place lives up to all the pictures--it feels like a museum from the 1970s--and is HUGE. I would much rather stay here than in a hotel, and would absolutely rent again on my next trip.

truly fabulous!!!

If you are planning a trip to mexico city and want a truly memorable experience in a super cool pad, look no further. This huge condo is a blast from the past to say the least and in a great location. Normally, I dont like to stay in the zona rosa but the actual location is on the far edge of zona, very close to paseo de la reforma, chapultpec park and the best and hippest part of town, roma and condessa. Bring your camera and a great book because you might choose to spend some nights in cooking, drinking wine and laughing with friends. I cannot wait to get back...

cool appartment

Roberto who manages the property was very responsive to questions and was very professional. He was also accommodating by letting me check in early. The location is perfect with restaurants and night life close by. Also easy to get to the metro or take a taxi to the zocalo for about 30 pesos. This is a studio apartment and was on its own floor. There is an elevator so it was easy to carry luggage up and down. Please note that there was no tv, telephone, or wifi. If you don't mind that, I would highly recommend the apartment

8/10 Good

Delightful ambience and location

Almost excellent. We were the first renters and the apartment is still in the process of renovation. The kitchen needs more cookware and utensils, so mention them to Roberto and he will get them. The street noise is evident so bring earplugs if you are bothered when sleeping. But it was not worse than other city hotels. Otherwise it was a dream place and fun. Great location to attractions and supplies. Comfortable bed. We can not wait to see it fully renovated for our next stay.

I'm a film director in Mexico City. I direct TV commercials for now. I grew and have a home (well, my mother does) on Puerto Vallarta, VRBO 34580. When we moved to Mexico City we started renting the PV condo, and now I'm renting my uncle's.

Why they chose this property

This amazing place is My uncle's 'bachelor's retreat'. He built it when he was as the top of his career in the 70's.

What makes this property unique

It´s a completely unique place. Out of a time machine. No hotel can give you this kind of experience. You will feell on a sexy movie from the seventies. Be sure to bring a smoking gown!
