About this property

Harry's Handicap Accessible Tea House

Summary:
Welcome to Harry's Tea House!
This brand new 360sqft, 1 bedroom/1 bath tiny home is located walking distance from downtown Noda. Our family custom built this handicap accessible unit originally for our dear friend Harry, and we poured a lot of love into it. The sunny space features a vintage style full kitchen, sunlights, a screened in sun porch, and - our favorite part, a walk or roll in steam shower that has all of our previous guests raving about it!

The Space:
The winding flagstone pathway leads to a tranquil, sunny bungalow. The vaulted ceiling design and skylights makes the space feel much larger. Cute full kitchen with vintage styled appliances. The Bathroom is as big as the bedroom and is, in our opinion, the best part of the space! The steam shower is the best. The stone pebble tile and teak shower bench makes you feal like you are checked in to a day spa.
We are in the process of creating a private outdoor soaker tub experience in the back yard space. coming soon..

Guest Access:
Guests have access to one spot in the shared driveway. All Porches and Backyard space.

The Neighborhood:
We adore living in this area, just a short walk to the vibrant Noda area and the light rail public transit system. Noda has blossomed into Charlotte's artist and creative hub, offering a plethora of shops, restaurants, breweries, and pubs for your enjoyment. Feel free to ask us for recommendations!

Getting Around:
We are in a great location. Central to many great experiences Charotte has to offer. We recommend Traveling by, Bike, train, uber or lyft. We are just a short walk to the light rail train system. The train will take you from the university of NC Charlotte through uptown and in to the south side of town. It’s sometimes fun to make a day of your ride! Go to bars, restaurants and shop or take it to the football or basketball games.

Other Things to Note:
We love our fluffy family members, and welcome pets of all kinds!
Please note there will be a pet fee of $50 per pet, per stay (so we can pay our stellar cleaning staff to deep clean any pet hair or accidents that may happen, so it is spotless for our next guests!)

Interaction with Guests:
We enjoy being friendly with our guests and are open to conversation and hang outs. If you would prefer to have your space, we completely understand that as well. Let us know if you need any suggestions to get local insider fun tips and hang outs.

Lovely place

Was in town for business and found this place because I hate being in the hotel rooms. For me being by myself, this was a perfect place. Cleanliness and quality were top-notch. Working with property manager and checking in and checking out was seamless. For the areas I was working in Charlotte it was very convenient. If or when I go back to Charlotte, I hope this place will be available..

Definitely better value than a hotel

Everything went great, stayed 4 nights to apartment search from a different state. The unit was clean, did have to kill 2 cockroaches but that’s anywhere really. Neighborhood is okay, not the best not the worst. Walked my dog at 8am and as late as 10pm without issues. Saw one or two neighbors they were nice. Location is close to food and most of Charlotte. Would use again if I didn't sign a lease.

Charlotte Retreat

Stayed 13 days. The overall space was a bit tight but we knew that going in. Place was centrally located and I would stay there again instead of a hotel room every time.

The description leaves out one of the best selling points

Nice small home at the edge of NoDa although not within easy walking distance for older people. The ad for this place does not highlight the best features, though, which are the screened in porch and the luxurious shower that has sauna capabilities

Great experience

I stayed here with my boyfriend and dog to attend a concert. The property was super clean, the host was very friendly and responsive. The check-in process was smooth. It’s a cute little place for anyone looking for a short get away
