About this property

NEW: Architectural Gem - Catskill Chalet w/ hot tub, wraparound deck on 6 acres

Unwind in a secluded and cozy upstate escape on 6+ wooded acres off a dead-end road while relaxing to the tune of Callicoon Creek. This newly renovated and thoughtfully designed home has multiple lounging areas, a wood-burning fireplace, hot tub, and fire pit. We are less than 15 minutes from the most charming Catskill Main Streets of Livingston Manor, Roscoe, Jeffersonville, and Callicoon and a five-minute walk to Callicoon Hills for dinner or coffee. Bring your family + dog out to the country!

You enter the house into the large sun-drenched living room with a lounge area to hang out next to the fully stocked chef's kitchen. Keep walking into the blue stone room for movie nights on the huge sectional by the wood-fired fireplace or entertain at the table for eight. Also on the main floor, there is a large primary bedroom and full bathroom as well as an office/ library filled with vintage furniture.

Upstairs, you'll find two large bedrooms with king beds: the World Traveler room and the Gilded Age. You'll also find a sun-drenched full bath with funky tile finishes.

Outside, there are six acres to explore including a landscaped chef's garden, meditation garden with hot tub, wrap-around porch with grill + sun loungers, and dining for six. Wander around the property to the firepit or down the path to a large wooded area for a short hiking loop with your dog.

- A Day in Livingston Manor: Pick up breakfast at The Walk In, The Neon Croissant, or Little North before shopping at all the boutiques or popping into the new Catskill Art Space. Go for a quick hike and a beer at Upward Brewery. When famished, you have a whole slew of places to come back to: Sunshine Colony for natural wine, Stumble Out for a cocktail.
- A Day in Roscoe (“Trout Town, USA”): Grab coffee at Catskill Coffee Lodge then spend the day fly fishing on the river (April to October) with a guide from Trout Town Flies or Dette Flies. Come back in time to stop in to a few vintage stores before dinner in front of the fire at The Junction.

The Perfect Cozy Cabin

The property was perfect for a romantic getaway. Relaxing in the hot tub and then cozying up in the living room with a fire - it was so nice and relaxing. The place was immaculate, the beds were comfy - would absolutely stay here again!

Callicoon Cabin Retreat

My husband and I spent the most relaxing week at the cabin, which is both rustic and modern at the same time. The rooms were bright and airy, everything was immaculate. The grounds were nice, between a fire pit, hot tub and is the summer what must be a lovely garden. The great room with it's slate floor and wood burning stove, was my absolute favorite spot. The furniture and bedding were extremely comfortable. This was the perfect spot for down time and relaxation. I would highly reccomend a stay.

Thank you, Callicoon!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful property! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The space was even more charming and spacious than the photos suggested. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Communication with the hosts was seamless. They were incredibly responsive and provided great recommendations for things to do in the area. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!

Great place to connect friends and be present

A group of us get away every year and we either camp or stay in a cabin. Had to cancel camp relatively last minute because of the weather, but this open air setting gave the feeling of seclusion with comfort and style. The beds were unbelievably comfortable. If I had to pick something It would be that a few more basics could have been available in the kitchen, like cooking oil, napkins et al but not a big deal and the home is close enough to shops. A very, very pleasant weekend.

Spring Break Getaway

The communication with the host was excellent. The house was clean and ready for us upon arrival. The home is very spacious and our family of 6 had plenty of room to spread out. The beds were very comfortable. We stayed for 6 days and 5 nights. We enjoyed walks through the woods, the hot tub was a bonus, and the location was private, yet close to amenities. We had a few days of rain and liked the coziness when we lit the fire stove. We all agreed that we would love to stay again if we head out that way!

What a wonderful experience!

My family loved our stay at this property! If you're looking for a rural oasis, this is it. The house is exactly as pictured, and is surrounded by lush woods and a beautiful garden. It was too rainy for us to use the fire pit, but that is tucked into such a nice secluded little area. We were super impressed by how well-stocked the kitchen was, how comfortable the beds were, and how much space we had to spread out! It really was the perfect place to disconnect (and soak in the hot tub) and we would love to return in future years as we visit our family in the area.

Perfect Catskills Getaway

We can't say enough nice things about the house, property, location and owners. The home is beautiful and welcoming, the fire place and hot tub are perfect. It is stylish and comfy, with all the amenities you might need. Down the road there is an inn that has coffee in the morning and a great dinner, where we bumped into NYC friends! The house gives you quiet seclusion, but you can easily pop out and take advatage of all the area has to offer. Plus the owners were really kind and super responsive. Will stay again!

Nicer than the images

Absolutely lovely home with truly comfortable furnishings and the mattresses were amazing. My friendcouldn't stop raving about the robes provided. Land itself was private while being just a short hop to the main road. My dog loved the grass and mowed paths. I have never really seen a rainchain before, and this was just one of many really unique qualities here. Everything was perfect and the a/c held up well in the midst of the heatwave!

Relaxing Callicoon Cabin!

This was such a great place to stay for a weekend of both relaxing and fun! The property was exactly what we had wanted and more. We loved how comfortably the entire cabin was set up both inside and outside for us and the details the host added including itineraries for things to do in the area, places to eat/drink nearby, board games around the cabin, and more. We enjoyed the hot tub, outdoor sitting areas, campfire, and exploring the yard. Even sitting in the living areas in the cabin was so peaceful with amazing outdoor views through the big glass doors and windows to really give you that upstate cabin feel. The host was great and quick to communicate. We will definitely be looking to come back here and will be recommending this cabin to all of our family and friends!

Calicoon Cabin with hot tub

We spent a long weekend at the cabin in Calicoon Center in Roscoe NY. The cabin is adorable and clean and well equipped. There are things for your children, things for your pets if you bring them, books and even records with a victroller. There is also a hot tub which is very enjoyable. The owner, Andrew, is friendly and very accommodating. He answers any concerns you may have promptly and efficiently. The cabin is up on a hill and tucked away. I highly recommend this cabin if you are staying in Callicoon Center in Roscoe or Livingston Manor.

Cozy and secluded

We were looking for a place that is cozy and secluded, and this was the perfect place. Knowing that it is not very close to grocery stores or restaurants (it’s not too far, but may need a 15 min drive one way, and we wanted to spend as much time at the place as possible), we brought all the food and snacks with us to avoid having to leave the place. The purpose of the trip was to relax and stay indoors, specially that it had snowed and it was fairly cold. We mostly enjoyed the fire place and the hot tub! Although we only used one bedroom, all three bedrooms were very spacious. The place overall was fairly big, situated on a large plot of land which our dog definitely enjoyed exploring. The host/property manager was very clear in their communication, and provided us with a detailed document listing nearby activities and attractions. Overall the place was perfect for what we were looking for!

Memorial Day Weekend

We stayed here for Memorial Day weekend and had such a nice time, helped that the weather was perfect! The cabin was beautiful, the pictures do not do this house justice. It's a beautifully remodeled old hunting lodge, where they kept a-lot of the original details throughout the house. The house is well equipped, the beds were really comfortable and all King sized beds.....which is really hard to find with rentals. The house is directly on a road, but it's a quiet, local road. The position of the house and the grounds makes it feel secluded enough that you wouldn't know the road is right there. We had a blast around the firepit at night. The icing on the cake was the hot tub, which we enjoyed every night as it was still pretty chilly in the evenings. We walked around in the surrounding woods a little bit, there is a really cool stone foundation not too far in. Our dog absolutely loved running and jumping around on all of the hills and fields on the property. We will most certainly be back! Thanks for sharing such a nice cabin with us!

Long weekend getaway

It was a perfect getaway for my wife and I to spend with our grown children (ages 20-23). The bbq, jacuzzi, fire pit and large living room were perfect to relax, play some music, play games, and make some great memories. There was plenty of things going on nearby to give some additional fun to our short stay. But mostly we could just enjoy the remote seclusion for some family time away from our individual busy lives.
