First floor beach house with ocean and marsh views directly across the street from beautiful Wells Beach. Very Convenient beach access. (A crosswalk at the end of the driveway leads directly to Public Way #2). Nicely renovated with two private bedrooms and a large family room with a sleep sofa. Bright and sunny eat in kitchen. Newer bath, hardwood floors, deck and sunroom. Fully furnished. Bonus outside shower, off street parking and grill. Basement washer and dryer access. Cable, Satellite Wifi and DVD player. This is the first floor unit in a two unit house. The opportunity exists for large/multiple families wishing to vacation together to rent both the first floor and the second floor simultaneously. This provides the privacy of your own quarters along with the convenience of having friends or the whole or extended family in the same house. A definite Yearly Re-Book!

Was pleasantly surprised with the amount of space for a family to spread out! Back sun porch sitting area is absolutely Beautiful with tons of fresh ocean air! Ocean walkway right across the street, could easily and quickly run back to house for restroom from the beach. We've been vacationing in Wells for 30+ years and will definitely be staying here from now on!

The contract is not up to date

The place is very well located… But there were no linen and towels…we had to buy them…just a roll of toilet paper,(for 3 persons for 3 days… it’s not enough and NO hot tub…also there’s a room with no windows… The items furnished should be review… Other than that everything was ok…

Awesome last minute get-a-way

It was a last minute mini vacation and we were very happy to find a place on Atlantic Ave. Being off season it was relatively quiet which we were looking for. We rented the 1st floor, very clean, quite spacious, we loved the front sunroom for morning and back sunroom for sunsets. Weather was nice enough for us to sit out back in the afternoon. Bed comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed. It is a 2 unit rental so the only downside was the upstairs had a tenant with young children that had a lot of energy early in the morning …if you are a light sleeper this could be an issue. I would definitely look to stay here again.

We had to book a last-minute rental for Christmas Prelude weekend after our initial place fell through. We were so happy to have found this spot! It was very clean with all the amenities you need. And the location can’t be beat. There was also great communication from the owners, who answered any and all questions we had in a very timely manner. Thanks for a great weekend!

I love this sweet yellow house!

I call this ,"my little yellow beach house," as I just love it here. All the comforts of home and so close to the beach. Nice owners, great place to stay.

Excellent location

We were happy with our stay. Location is fantastic. So convenient to be able to run back to the house as needed from the beach. Laundry in the basement and access to boogie boards and beach toys was also great, traveling with a kiddo. Living room furniture was pretty comfortable to sit on. Mattresses less so, really the only thing we didn’t like. Loved having coffee in the sunroom in the morning. Check in was super easy (love not having a key) and the house was ready. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Our stay

The apartment itself was very nice as was the location to the beach. Having people upstairs with kids, it was very noisy and with rheir bathroom right over one of the bedrooms was not pleasant.

We love Maine!! We Live in Massachusetts and come to Maine all the time. Having 80 Atlantic to come to as a getaway, has been great. We make a cup of coffee in the mornings, cross the street and watch the sunrise on the beach. Relaxing!!

Why they chose this property

My family and I have vacationed in Wells beach for countless summers. We rented over a dozen different properties. All the properties we rented required us to pack all our beach gear in the car, fight the traffic and cross our fingers we would find a parking spot. If we could find a spot, it was often the typical $15/day. Then we would load all our 'beach gear' on our shoulders and make the walk to the beach. At times it was frustrating. Bathroom breaks were always an adventure. When we decided to purchase a home in Wells, we wanted to be right by the ocean. 80 Atlantic Ave was perfect. It had a crosswalk for the kids at the end of the driveway and direct access to Public Way #2 (No walking up or down Atlantic Ave to reach the nearest Public Way). Bathroom calls were no longer a problem and anything we forgot to bring with us was just across the street. 80 Atlantic is also extremely close to Wells Beach 'Center.' If you want a newspaper or a snack, the convenience store is right there. If the kids want to go to the arcade, get an ice cream or visit the candy store, they are right there. On top of all this, the property has Maine marsh views from the back and ocean views from the front.
