Our cottage features 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a large screened in porch, outdoor shower, with a private hot tub located near beautiful Lake Burton. The cottage is one block from the lake, close to 2 marinas, the Farmhouse Market, and Waterfall Country Club. It's minutes from downtown Clayton's adorable historic Main Street. The cottage is also a convenient drive to the beautiful mountain towns of Alpine Helen, Highlands, and Hiawassee.

Precious cottage

This is the second time we’ve stayed. Convenient to town and hiking. Cottage has all amenities needed. Great porch with tv perfect for fall evenings. We just love it!

Family wedding weekend

The Rabun Rest Cottage was perfect for our trip to Lake Burton . The screened in porch was my favorite spot ! Comfortable beds and cutest kitchen ! I would stay there again !

Perfect Spot right off the lake!

This cabin is simply adorable! So comfortable and cozy! The screened in porch which doubles as a living/dining room is the best! It stayed cool and breezy out there the whole visit. The outdoor shower is the best in the house and felt luxurious and decadent to shower under the tree canopy! Melissa was so helpful and communicative when we had any questions at all. The retro fridge is fun! Found everything we needed- even a cheese grater! Walking distance to the marina which was perfect for boat rental. Can’t wait to stay at Rabun Rest again!!

Charming Little House

We were in town for a wedding and thoroughly enjoyed this home. Melissa was awesome and super helpful. The house has anything you would need. We loved the big porch and firepit area. Easy drive to town.
