Lovely place, unfortunate experience after the trip.
We stayed for a long girls weekend - just a few nurses that needed a relaxing, stress free weekend. Overall, the condo was lovely and had everything you'd want for a beach trip. The check in process was easy and the owner reaponded quickly with the code. The unit is in the back of the resort, so not exactly beach front, which is fine. It's on the top (3rd) floor and those particular buildings do not have elevators. I knew this before hand, so it wasn't an issue. The condo was clean and well maintained. When we left, I 100% thought I would rent this unit again, however over 24+hr after checkout the owner texted me with a screenshot of her venmo info asking for $125 saying we ruined a bed comforter, but the houskeeper threw it in the dumpster and didn't take a picture of it. I am certain the comforter was not ruined(by us) and it was unfair and unprofessional of her to request that without proof of said damage. Proof is a completely reasonable request prior to just sending that amount of money - however, I was told that if i didn't want to "settle that way" I'd have a claim filed against me. I immediately reached out to VRBO support and was ensured I could not be charged and I didn't owe. The whole situation is unfortunate and definitely put a bad ending to an otherwise great vacay.
