Beautiful recently built custom home. Spacious 35 ft. 2-story great room with a wall of windows which provide views of Glen Lake, Alligator Hill and Sleeping Bear Dunes. Gourmet kitchen with island. Beautifully furnished. 5 bedrooms; 2 master bedrooms with king beds and bathroom on the main floor and 2nd floor, 2nd bedroom upstairs with a queen bed. Bonus room sleeps 6. Loft area with pull out sofa. A/C in all bedrooms. Sleeps 12 people comfortably. Also- we only allow 12 people total on the property at anytime. Walk out finished basement with full bathroom and bedroom, Washer and Dryer, Barbeque Grill, Attached Garage.

Family Getaway

The property was perfect for a family vacation. We had people from ages 4 to 81 and could not have asked for a better place to stay as it accommodated everyone comfortably. The two children especially enjoyed the beach.

Leelanau vacation

We love this house! The 10 of us have stayed here 4 times in the last few years. It’s a great base for activities all over the peninsula as well as in Traverse City. It’s a very welcoming home and very well maintained and communications with the host are timely and cordial.

Fantastic house on Little Glen Lake

Our family had an absolutely wonderful time. The house is very large and can accommodate several families comfortably as we had 4 different families with us. The location is fantastic and the backyard is perfect for little ones to play and get in the water. Hope to stay there again soon. Thanks!

Awesome place!

We've stayed in this house 3 or 4 times with our family. It is beautiful, love the little beach area and the fire pit. It has everything you could need. We will definitely continue to rent this awesome place! Love the ping pong and foosball tables in the basement. Owner is always very helpful and responsive. Awesome vacation!

The only bad thing is that we were too late trying to book next year!!!

Literally. Unbelievable week with my family here. Six adults, two toddlers and one infant. The house was clean and had everything we needed. It had a huge, open airy layout with an unbelievable living room complete with cathedral height ceilings that had windows overlooking the turquoise lake. The backyard was bi-level and the beach felt private and secluded. The property owner was communicative, friendly and responsive. We’re already trying to plan for 2026.

Our week was so nice! It was cool in the beginning of our week but when the heat set in the house warmed up with no air as windows did not open. The kitchen is wonderful with room for every one.

Lovely Lake House!

Our multigenerational family of ten enjoyed this lovely and spacious lake house for the second year in a row! The stunning two-story great room was perfect for gathering and movie night. There are also many places on the three floors to spread out if some quiet solitude is desired. The kitchen was very well-stocked - - a great cook's kitchen with two dishwashers! The deck, a favorite spot, was a perfect place to read a book, chat, and enjoy a glass of wine while viewing a stunning sunset! The location is excellent as it is close to both Glen Arbor and Sleeping Bear Dunes. We enjoyed hiking, kayaking, and biking, as well as exploring the area restaurants and wineries. Our four grandchildren (three seven-year-olds and one five-year-old) enjoyed playing in the sandy beach area and in the shallow water with their floats. I highly recommend this property! We are already booked for next year!.

Great house for a large group!

Great house for a large group (we had 12) - lots of space so we weren’t tripping over each other. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The kids enjoyed the games downstairs. The kitchen is large and well-equipped, and the fact that it has 2 dishwashers was a life-saver. The extra fridge in the garage was perfect for keeping all of our drinks cold which left plenty of space in the kitchen fridge for food. Beautiful spot on the lake with plenty of seating on the deck and a nice sandy beach for the kids to play. Our only complaint was the barbecue: it was a skillet, not a grill, and it was filthy dirty so we had to clean it before cooking. I also suggest telling people to bring matches or a lighter if they’re going to have a fire in the fire pit. We’d definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Lake House!

What a fantastic time we had in this beautiful lake home! We were a group of ten - - me, my husband, our two daughters and son-in-laws and our four grandchildren (three six-year olds and one four year old)! The spacious home was perfect for either gathering in the two-story great room or finding separate spaces in which to enjoy some solitude. We utilized and appreciated all three floors of living space including the two outdoor spaces. The upper deck was perfect for outdoor dining and relaxing with a beautiful view of the lake, Alligator Hill, the dunes and lovely sunsets! Our grands loved the sandy beach area and the shallow water. The kitchen was very well-equipped and even came with two (!) dishwashers. We also appreciated the two washers and dryers located on the first and ground floors. The bedrooms had ample hanging space and drawer space and the beds were very comfortable. The location is great with proximity to Glen Arbor and a marina for renting boats less than a five minute drive away. The owner was very responsive to any questions I had and was most accommodating. I highly recommend this property! We have already booked for next year!

We love this rental house! My family has had three separate trips and each time we can’t wait to come back again. Wonderful house, well equipped for our group/family, lots of room for people to spread out. Have never met the owner John in person but I feel like I have as he is very responsive to any questions along the way. Gorgeous property in one of my favorite places to visit. Already planning the next one!!

wonderful property to stay at

we have no complaints. the home lived up to our expectations. just have one minor suggestion. there was no pantry or empty cabinet to store our groceries. it would have been nice not to have everything out on the counters. my family really enjoyed the home and it's location. beautiful view and sunset from deck area.

Paradise on Little Glen Lake

A beautiful property with expansive views! Soaring 3 story windows facing the lake! Private sandy beach and a sunny dock, very nice outdoor seating on the deck. This home has EVERYTHING! Fine furnishings, well appointed and comfortable. Large bedrooms, great bathroom space - excellent mattresses! This is not your typical rental! The nicest place we have ever stayed when renting! Communication was perfect with the owner. Thank you for a wonderful week in your gorgeous home!

Gem on Glen Lake

This house certainly lived up to it's billing. We had a fantastic week with our extended family. Glen Lake is one of my favorites in the area and this home has it all for a family group to have fun week. Great dock, beach, and plenty of room for everyone to enjoy inside for our group of 12. We hope to be back again. Big thanks to John for going above and beyond to make sure the house was clean and ready for our group. He was also available for any questions we had.

Great Family Vacation

The Lindy is the perfect place for families, especially small children (we had 6 grandkids ranging from 6 yrs old to 10 months old). The beach is perfect and the lake is shallow. This is our second time staying here and we will definitely be back! Host, John, is very easy to communicate with and takes pride in making sure the home is clean and ready for the next guests. Thank you John for being there when we arrived to make sure everything was perfect after the previous guests were not so respectful of your home. There is a reason why the Lindy is 5 stars!

Awesome place!

This is our second time renting this property and it is absolutely perfect for families! We had 3 families staying together and there was plenty of room, a beautiful sandy beach on the property, the lakes are amazing and warm and sandy. We loved the foosball table and ping pong tables in the basement. Well stocked kitchen; beautiful views. We would highly recommend this property!

Family trip with grandparents and cousins

Great house for kids and adults. My kids loved having a loft room to sleepover with their cousins. Adults were able to have their own private space as well. The kitchen was equipped and spacious. My kids loved the sandy beach and game room on the bottom floor. We will look into another stay here in the future. So many things to do near by as well. Glen Arbor and Glen lake are beautiful. It’s very shallow for a long distance which was great for my little ones. We rented a boat and had fun tubing and hanging out with the family. You can see sleeping bear dunes from the dock. Beautiful sunsets. We saw a bald eagle on the Fourth of July morning to top off our stay!
