Large Home on 2 Wooded Acres - Beach, Boat Ramp, Lots of Extras - Dogs Welcome
This large home is in the Balmoral community with a large community beach and boat ramp down the end of the street. The community center also has a playground and tennis/pickleball court. Boasting a screened-in porch, large fenced-in area, wrap around deck, gas grill, fire pit and both a family room (with 50-inch TV with surround sound) and a living room there is plenty of room for all to relax. The large open kitchen has hard-surface counters, a gas range, dishwasher, refrigerator, toaster oven w/air fryer and microwave and opens to a dining room that seats 8. The kitchen is very well equipped. Bring your boat, jetskis, camper, whatever - there is plenty of room to park including a covered concrete parting area in addition to the 2-car garage. There is plenty of room to throw a football, frisbee, lacrosse ball or whatever in the nicely landscaped double lot property. We just bought this house and this is the first rental season which is why there are no reviews yet.

Our stay here was outstanding! The house accommodated our family of 7 and our dog with extra room to spare. Nice and clean and our host Mr. Wald was very friendly to communicate with so long story short we can’t wait to go back!
This property offers space, indoor and outdoor amenities, beach parking pass and much more. It is immaculate and well stocked for cooking, entertaining (we have relatives in the area) and sitting around the fire pit. There is also ample parking.
This property has absolutely everything you need for a great stay in the lakes region...well stocked and updated kitchen...fantastic yard with some privacy from neighbors through the trees....fenced in area for your dogs (the main reason we chose this house)....clean and comfortable. Beach is one mile down the road, easy access, could always find a parking spot. Would stay here again, absolutely! Thank you
We are a group of 6 70 year olds from Texas here for a reunion with long time friends. The house was perfect for us. There was plenty of room and the beds were comfortable. The linens were all so fluffy. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The host was very attentive and got back to me quickly with every question. The house was a 5 minute drive to some fantastic, beautiful hiking. Plus we had access to the neighborhood beach which we enjoyed. I highly recommend this great house and host.

House was very nice, clean and kitchen was well stocked. Lots of areas to hang out like the screened, porch and front and back deck, as well as the finished basement. The only glitch was getting the key code to open the door. We did get an email saying here is the key to your rental, but the code wasn’t included and it kept sending us back to the listing. Once we were able to get in everything was great and I would stay here again.
Plenty of space inside and out for the whole family!
We arrived to a very clean home, the exterior was also nicely manicured. Kitchen was well appointed, great laundry room, clean bathrooms, good linens, water pressure was good with plenty of hot water. The screened in porch was very nice, the basement had a large family room where the kids hung out.. the primary bedroom was very comfortable, the 2 other bedrooms wete fine. The exterior property was very unique with an intricate array of stones that outlined a winding stream, large firepit area and wonderful deck that wrapped around to the screened in porch. The area for pets was adequate with a very sturdy fence and latched gate. We had great commynication with owner! The privare beach area is great for the kids, you can launch boat, jet ski if you have your own..we found plenty of good restaurants, the trails at castle in the clouds worth the hike, close to Center harbor, Meredith, only 30 mins to Weirs beach, kids really enjoyed..we really enjoyed our stay!

About the host
Hosted by Michael Wald
Mike and Debbie live most of the year in St. Augustine, FL. Debbie is a retired Nurse Practitioner and Mike is a part-time Engineering Consultant. We have owned several vacation spot rentals and know how to make them welcoming and properly equipped.
Why they chose this property
The beach and boat ramp are a great feature but we also wanted to be a little bit back from the busy waterfront in this large, wooded lot, where you can really relax. It is right between the action in Meredith and Wolfeboro with some good local restaurants.
What makes this property unique
Most of the properties in the area are smaller lots with lots of neighbors. This property has a large wooded lot with plenty of room for outdoor activities.
