The home was clean and very nicely decorated. We enjoyed sitting out on the beautiful deck (no bugs) and hiking the trails around the property. John was friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. It is definitely a place we would like to return to for future family reunions.

LaVille Ladies’ Weekend Away 2024
We were all very pleased with the property. The house was very accommodating for 5 adults! We enjoyed the deck and the porch for relaxing, the dining room table for eating and playing games, the kitchen for meal prep and coffee and the bedrooms for comfy sleeping. The home was clean and well stocked right down to shampoo and soap. We would highly recommend this property!

Another amazing weekend in Centreville Michigan!
This was our 3rd straight Fourth of July Holiday at this amazing cabin on the Prairie River. Our whole family had a wonderfully relaxing weekend playing in the river, sitting on the hugh deck, and sitting around a camp fire in the evenings. John was very accommodating and willing to change our dates for us. We will be back!

Riverside cabin
Quiet, relaxing cabin with wildlife all around. We felt safe. We enjoyed relaxing on the balcony overlooking the water, sitting on the front porch, and around the fire pit. Abundance of birds, rabbits, deer, and many other animals for us to watch. All this, yet near restaurants, stores, and community activities. The property was exceptionally clean and had all the amenities that met our needs.

Very nice and very understanding
It was supposed to be a gathering of siblings and spouses each traveling from a couple hours away. A getaway for seven turned into a fun weekend for four. One missed because of illness. Two missed because of a family death the day we were supposed to stay. Owners were very sympathetic and understanding of the situation. The four who stayed had a good time and we hope to book again for a more complete siblings weekend.

Great retreat!
Could not have asked for a better place for the family. We all traveled from NC and it was just the right place for us to relax and enjoy each other. The house worked well for all adults and one 5 yr. old. The property was beautiful and the river was calming. If you want a nice quiet retreat, this is your place. Thanks, John and Pat!

Beautiful home with spectacular views
Everything was absolutely perfect. The home was spotlessly clean. We had everything we needed. The owners were very friendly and very communicable with us. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife fishing sitting outside campfires. It’s a wonderful place for Family!. And yes, we cannot wait to go back. It is also convenient to go to grocery stores, places to eat, and a great coffee shop.
