About this property

Nestled in Nature-Walking Trail- Private-Fire Pit-Hot Tub- Fun Game Room-Wii

Looking for solitude, entertainment, and space in the heart of The Great Smoky Mountains? You have found it! THE GATHERING PLACE has a large emphasis on bringing family or friends together and offering many ways of making lifelong memories and new traditions without even leaving the cabin. There's enough to keep everyone entertained. From kids to the grandparents. From video game enthusiasts to nature lover and everyone in between. This charming log cabin truly has something for everyone.

*Established vacation rental, new property management.

THE GATHERING PLACE is nestled in the wooded countryside of Sevierville. No cabins stacked on top of each other here. You have space to yourselves but only a short drive to the action. This property sits upon 3 lots with it's own personal walking trail. Imagine the deer, turkey, and rabbits you will see walking right outside your door. If exploring the city is on the agenda for the day, you are less than a 20 minute drive into downtown Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. Who says you can't have the best of both worlds?

Soaring ceilings and the coziness of wood instantly greet you as you enter into the fully stocked kitchen. Equipped with all the necessities. Stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge. For your coffee, choose Keurig or traditional drip style. Everything you need to cook meals at the cabin. Who needs art in the dining room when you are surrounded by large windows showcasing the everchanging foliage of the forest around you? The living room on the main level offers a beautiful stone gas fireplace and large tv. Through the living room you can step out onto one of the two large covered decks. The upper level deck offers a large, 7 person hot tub to soak and relax in. Enjoy dinner outside at the full sized table or enjoy your morning tea or coffee in the rocking chairs. On the lower level deck there is a swing and rocking chairs to enjoy the view. After dinner head for the newly updated, large fire pit. With plenty of seating you can have s'mores for dessert! Park style charcoal grill provided for cooking out.

Offering three bedrooms, all of which have their own bathrooms. The first king suite is on the main level (whirlpool bathtub in the bedroom with a walk-in shower in the bathroom). The second king suite is upstairs in the open loft with a full bathroom attached. Downstairs you will find another large living space that serves as the rec/movie room (sofa pulls out into a bed) with access to the lower deck. The downstairs bedroom offers two twin beds and another full bathroom. The downstairs bedroom also has it's own deck access. Through the bathroom there is a full size washer/dryer and ironing board.

Kids never seem to lose much energy but the game room has plenty of options to keep them, or the kid in you entertained: a regulation sized air hockey table, a WII gaming console with games for all ages to choose from. A pub table and board games for family game night, 50" smart TV for movie night or to stream your favorite shows. PacMan, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders and more vintage classics that everyone can enjoy on the multicade table. Or, perhaps a foosball tournament is more your style? You certainly have plenty of options!

Here's a few things we love about THE GATHERING PLACE:

Family Vacation

The space was perfect for a family of 7 adults. The place was just as the description provided. I gave an overall 5 stars. The only complaint I had was the cabin needs a deep cleaning.

Trip

It was great. We enjoyed the fire pit. There wasn’t much privacy in upstairs bedroom. But overall nice. The road in and out was not rough.

Awesome Family Cabin

Family of 6 with 4 boys (15, 13, 8, & 7). The 15 year old loved having the loft to himself. The game room was great also. The hot tub was perfect, the walking path was a perfect little hike for the family. Got to hear mountain lions, unfortunately didn't see much for wildlife except squirrels, lol. The drive was beautiful except the road is streap and gravel. If you do not have all wheel drive this might be an issue with the rain driving up the hill. The cabin had pretty much everything you could need except a pizza cutter, but a knife does work. Be on the lookout for a stump that looks like a bear cub, you can trick your family like we did!

nice quiet get away

this cabin was very nice, and surroundings were very peaceful. checking in ran into a snag, but was very easy to get resolved. there is a section of road cabin is on that is very rough, so if have a vehicle that sits up higher would be best to drive rather than one that sits low. we will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area
