Owls Head Estate Home

Great location , elegant home . In a country setting but clearly a feeling of Maine with view of Rockland Harbor and Penobscot Bay and near a few beaches.

Magical holiday stay

We were stunned when we arrived at the property and it was beautifully decorated with numerous lighted Christmas trees. To top it off, 4 inches of snow fell Christmas Eve. It was a wonderful place for our family to gather and share meals. We also used the pizza oven one night which was a lot of fun

Family Vacation

Wonderful property with lovely estate home. The host communicates well and responds to all requests promptly. Home is nicely decorated and as-represented. The host (Christina) explained some improvements coming in the fall that will only enhance your stay in Maine. Our family was very comfortable and we look forward to our next visit to the coast of Maine!

An Amazing Stay

When driving up to the property, we were all impressed. The house looked so welcoming, and it was! Everything made us feel like we could rest and relax there while we toured Maine. We had a question about the history of the house and our hostess promptly responded inviting us to come talk to her as she was working on the site at the "event" area. Pride of ownership, a desire to please guests and a winning personality makes Ash Point the best VRBO experience we've had. It was AWESOME!!

Beautiful estate, better than the photos!

We absolutely loved this estate and the area. Christina was very accommodating and answered all of my questions almost immediately. The beds are comfortable, so we were able to sleep in. We enjoyed making use of the enormous kitchen and the outdoor brick-oven (hint: don’t put too many toppings on your pizza). Long walks amongst the wildflowers were a much needed after dinner treat. The nearby towns & lighthouses are lovely and very welcoming. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful Experience

The property is very special, the grounds are beautiful, view is lovely. The house is spacious, wonderful space for a group to gather for meals, but plenty of separate space for puzzles, cards or tv. The location is perfect, close to Rockland town, but rural enough to enjoy seeing doe and fawns grazing on the side lawn. Geese were fattening up for the long journey south in the side pasture. We look forward to returning again to such a special place. The owner is fabulous, responsive to any questions or concerns.

Wonderful five night stay

It was a very comfortable place with a lot of room. There were six of us. Four adults and two grandchildren. A very short drive to crescent beach which the two grandchildren just enjoyed. There is not much of a beach at high tide but as the tide goes out, it is all sand A short drive to downtown Rockland. We were up here for the Friendship Sloop races If you like seafood, Jess’s market had a good selection Owlshead light house was a pretty spot

Great Place to Stay-Coastal Maine

We were in Maine for a family members 60th birthday. The home was beautiful, kitchen was amazing for cooking with the family, and the outdoor Wood fire pizza oven was the icing on the cake. We had never used one before, so after researching we reached out to the owner who answered all of our questions in a timely manner. All supplies were at the house, clean and ready to use. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms were super clean, and had everything you needed from shampoo and conditioner to a hairdryer. Aside from the awesomeness of the house and location it was a great place to stay and see coastal Maine and visit other towns along the coast.
