Family Fishing Trip

We came down for a family fishing trip and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Doyle and Heidi went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable time. Grannies place was clean and comfortable for our family of 6 and the host even introduced us to a crab/shrimp boil with all the fixings. Thank you so much and we can’t wait to come back. 10 outta 10!!

A True Louisiana Experience!

Had a great trip! An excellent location for great fishing! Out guide picked us up right at our location. The house was clean and accommodating, the host met us and walked the property with us to ensure our stay would be perfect. This is the right spot for a true southern Louisiana experience!

Look no further

My husband, myself and children made a trip down to Barataria for fishing. We love the area and the fishing. The home is very nice and clean. The pictures don’t do the property justice. The beds are very nice and comfortable. My husband is very picky with beds/mattresses and he slept well! Owners are super nice and helpful.

Southern hospitality at its finest! Wish we could have stayed longer....

The owners reached out to us before we even got there, and helped us find a cool swamp tour. They met us when we arrived, and showed us around. They had hidden rubber ducks and stickers for the kids to find, and they loved it! We chatted for a bit, they are really nice folks, and I feel like we left as friends, not just tenants. Its not a huge house, but you don't notice, its open and airy, and very clean. The kitchen is amazing. :-) Beds are comfy too :-) The kids loved the giant jenga and the trivia games, and the owners put us in touch with a local fisherman so we could buy some shrimp :-) This place is fresh and modern, blended with homey and comfortable. Its got just the right amount of old fashioned, and a heaping dose of southern charm. We loved our stay, and the couple who owns it ( do meet them if you can, they are so sweet, and definitely part of the experience! ) and plan to check in here if we are ever in the area again :-)
