Host was awesome helping us thru all steps of our reservation and stay. We checked in kinda late our first night and was gracious with my questions. It was tricky finding a place which was close enough for our grandson’s arrival, internet friendly for my husband’s remote work, and comfortable for our dog.

We arrived at 130am. After a long day of travel we were very discouraged to discover that we did not have a code to get in the front door. After about 30 minutes of trying to problem solve (including calling/messaging property owner, searching for nearby motel/hotels with vacancy, ordering an Uber and then having to cancel it) we finally made contact to find there was a second code needed to get in. Once that obstacle was overcome we found the doorknob to our actual apartment broken. Despite the owner saying to enter the code and push the door open, which didn't work, we had to fetch tools from a cabinet downstairs and rig the knob so that we could finally access the apartment. The apartment has a lot of charm and so much potential. However, the carpet was disgusting, the vinyl flooring in the kitchen was a bit creepy to the feet so no one dared walk barefoot. It is advertised to sleep 4, which it does. There were only 4 towels so that was a little disappointing. I did not want to do laundry on my vacation nor buy laundry supplies when I would need to do only one load. The bedding left a LOT to be desired. Not soft, not comfy. My pillow was about a half inch thick. The master bed had some kind of larvae under the bedspread on top of the sheet. Someone's chunk of wig was under the bed. The owner came to fix the doorknob and was extremely friendly. Unfortunately though, I have to give it a thumbs down.
