Spectacular Beach House Near Cedar Point in Mitiwanga Beach

Welcome to a Spectacular Home away from Home. This home, located in Mitiwanga Park in Huron Ohio sits right on the beach and has spectacular views of Lake Erie both to the north, east and west. Sit on one of the many decks of the house and soak in the views and the sun.

Mitiwanga Park is a kid-friendly community that is less than 15 minutes to Cedar Point, antique shopping, a penny candy store, jet skiiing and more. The beaches of the Park are sandy and shallow for a long distance out and is private to residents (and their tenants). The Park has tennis courts and basketball courts for use by residents (and their tenants). Fish right off the piers in the Park....

The home was completely gutted and renovated in the Fall 2011. The home has two master bedrooms - one up and one down (handicapped accessible), which is wonderful for multiple families staying at the home. Both master bedrooms have flat screen TV's as does the great room so there is plenty of space to spread out. With 3 full-baths and a private outdoor shower, there will never be a wait to rinse off sand from the beach.

The home sits on a gently slopped hill to the Park beach and has 3 sides that face the lake so there are spectacular beach views from virtually every room in the house.

WONDERFUL HOME, WONDERFUL HOST

Jennifer is an amazing host! We truly couldn't ask for a better stay for our huge group of crew and cast members during a local filming. She was so kind and accomodating to our needs, truly one of the most generous hosts I've ever experienced! The house is a dream with the most gorgeous views and the most beautifully curated decor. Amazing!!!

We had the most peaceful time during our stay in The Treehouse!!!! Everything was wonderful and the views were absolutely stunning both inside and outside on the decks and patios!!! The home is very comfortable and truly has whatever one might need to really relax and enjoy!!! We were so blessed to spend two weeks in this beautiful home. Wonderful Lakeside House

This is the third year our group of friends have stayed at this house and we are still amazed by the wonderful views of the lake, the nightly sunsets, and the overall great set-up this house provides. If you are looking for a place where you can relax, enjoy the lake and the overall scenery, I cannot recommend this place enough.

Beautiful home - great relaxing weekend! The best!

The house is beautiful inside and out - the setting could not be better for relaxing on the deck in a comfy chair and looking out over the lake. We had perfect weather, very calm lake - though would have liked just a tad more wind so we could hear more of the waves lapping! We couldn't ask for better communication and information from the owners - about the house and surrounding! We have stayed in Mitiwanga several times - last time was about 10 years ago. This is the place we all want to come back to. Looking forward to setting up our next visit!

Beautiful home with beautiful views!

This house is such a gem! It’s clean, spacious, warm, and is a wonderful place to gather with family and friends. There was more than enough room for our family of 8 and the space would easily accommodate more. The first floor bedroom and bathroom were great for my parents. My mom was recovering from an ankle condition so not having to go up and down the stairs was perfect. The deck is amazing! We enjoyed morning coffee with sweeping views, afternoon snacks soaking up the sun, and dinners, drinks, and tea just enjoying the lake. Such a great place to gather. There were tons of board games and beach toys, perfect for our kiddos. We even met Sean from Sean Watch who was very kind and reminded us to feel free to pick the cherry tomatoes growing on the side of the house. This was our 2nd year vacationing at Mitiwanga, our first staying here and we’re already planning our trip to stay again in 2023. Be sure to stop by the local farm stand for amazing peaches and fresh picked corn and veggies!

Great lake house

This was a wonderful house for our extended family of 11. Beach toys and chairs were a plus and the private beach was great. We used the community tennis courts and enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. Vermilion was a cute city to visit and eat in. We truly enjoyed our stay and will probably go again.

Wonderful property with an amazing view!

Our group of life-long friends had a terrific trip and stay at the property. The weather worked in our favor so we took advantage of the outside deck space and spent the majority of our time enjoying the lakefront views and fabulous sunsets. The house itself was well stocked, especially the kitchen which had all the necessities for making some great meals. Overall, we could not have asked for a better place for our group of friends. Tree House

Beautiful house!!!!! Well supplied and comfortable except for the mattresses. We loved the coffee mugs. Please be careful, these are valuable. The view is the best on lake front!!!! We had several bald eagles making visits. One eagle landed in the tree outside the near window. What a treat!!!! We also enjoyed watching all the ducks. We would love coming back in the summer to experience a whole different environment.

We own a home in this same neighborhood that we use regularly with our family. The beaches of Mitiwanga are the best in the area and we fell in love with this family friendly community.

Why they chose this property

We love the area - less than an hour from Cleveland, less than 20 minutes from Cedar Point and the ferrys to the Islands. Centrally located for the attractions of Cleveland, local wineries, Cedar Point and the Islands, this home provides an ideal vacation spot.

What makes this property unique

Beautiful views of the beach and the park from every room. Sit on one of the many decks and watch your family on the beach or playing on the grass of the Park. Tennis and baskball courts are located in the park and are great for the kids. Fish off the piers in the park or take your boat/jet ski to Cranberry Creek (less than 1/4 mile away).
