Relaxation at it's finest
We enjoyed our stay at Infiniti Blu. We traveled with our two adult children and my mom. We stayed on the 3rd floor in a penthouse apartment that offered 4b/4ba. The space was large and open, with a beautiful view of the pool and ocean. Our particular unit offered wi-fi, dvd player, one tv, hair dryers, coffee maker, bottled water, linens and towels. We were met at the airport by Ricardo, to taxi us to our complex. He was on time and very helpful, stopping along the way so we were able to pick up groceries, before heading to the unit. We were very pleased with the security and lushness of the property itself. Jens met us at the apartment to go through the particulars of the unit. Upon arrival, we realized we were without coffee filters, a dvd player and hair dryers. Jens was great in securing the first two items, but we never did get those hair dryers!
Enjoy a taxi to Cabarete for the beach (if you want to learn Kite sailing, this is the place) and lots of dining options
Pros:
Gorgeous view
Quiet complex
Clean, large and airy apartment
Awesome location with proximity to the beach and pool
Nice beach and pool with plenty of chairs
Snorkel from the beach to coral reef(s) with plenty of fish
Helpful apartment manager
Friendly workers on the complex
2 large nice grocery stores with everything you could need
Fireworks over our apartment on New Years Eve!
Cons:
wi-fi was unreliable and didn't work for 4 days
Sosua doesn't lend itself to family dining and entertainment at night-we ate dinner in all but one night
Staff should put lounge chairs on the beach (my mother fell trying to drag one down from the grass)
Linens/pillows need to be updated
Need an opaque curtain in the downstairs back bedroom
Could have used a few more mixing bowls and kitchen utensils and glassware, for cooking in
We would recommend this place to family and friends.
