This is an "unplugged property" which does not have cable/internet connection- a place to enjoy the surround of nature, each other's company and your own lobster dinners! Privately set behind pine woods, yet not remote, Point View Lane is essentially our driveway off a short, residential road that ends at a quiet, broad sand beach in the quiet fishing village of Owls Head, ME. There are two bedrooms with queen beds, one on 1st floor and one on 2nd with a half bath, and a third bedroom on 2nd floor with two twin beds and its own sink. Full bath 1st floor with washer/dryer, kitchen with dishwasher. (total baths, 1 1/2)

Two well-behaved and tended dogs may be welcome (no cats); no indoor smoking, please. Wi-fi hot spots are available nearby at the airport terminal and at various locations in the area.

Bookings are primarily for one week, Sat. to Sat. Rates stated are the equivalent per-night rate of a one-week stay. Closer to a date, lingering openings may be available for 3-night minimum stays at a higher rate.

Come meet the SeaMeadow and enjoy this private, serene, panoramic getaway. Plenty to do and see in the area or simply kick back on the porch and watch the grass wave in the breeze.

Beautiful and Magical

From the moment we arrived the beauty and serenity drew me in. The tide going in and out was mesmerizing. The SeaMeadow of flowers was so gorgeous. The accommodations were simple, complete and comfortable. The cottage was cozy and the views were beautiful from inside as well. We loved our stay and hope to return.Chip was helpful and available.

Lovely stay

Well-equipped, charming, comfortable house in a delightful location. We were five adults, and managed fine. The porch is a wonderful amenity, and the location is ideal.

Idyllic place in Maine

This was a great place to stay! It's cozy, clean and has everything you might need. It's at the end of a dirt road so is very private. There's access to the cove you can see from the house and we enjoyed kayaking there. There are many interesting things to do in the area. We especially loved the screened in porch and that we were able to bring our dog with us.

Beautiful, well-located, and well-appointed

Chip's beautiful lodge by the bay is spectacular. The location offers morning sunrises, peaceful evenings, and the comforts of a rustic home. Checkin was seamless and the home was perfectly appointed for a weekend getaway or a holiday with family meals. We actually enjoyed being disconnected from the internet and TV. We are really eager to return in the Spring to see the sunrise again.

Loved every minute!

The Seameadow was wonderful, even during the current social changes for COVID prevention. Perfect for some solitude, submersion in nature, and family bonding. We enjoyed the nearby beaches, rented kayaks for the week, walked across the cove at low tide, and was able to bring our dog everywhere with us! We loved every minute and can’t wait to return.

Great getaway!

Rustic house in a beautiful setting. My husband, 9 year old son and I spent a fabulous 4 days in Owls Head and loved our vacation! Chip was quite accommodating in helping us make a last minute vacation work. The nearby state park and local beaches were wonderful. Loved being close to Rockland which has an amazing array of varied and delicious restaurants. Also, the Owl's Head General store has great breakfast and burgers! HiIghly reommend

Beautiful location, accurate description, peaceful retreat!

I Stayed here with my family and our 2 dogs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is better than described and prettier than the photos. Picturesque sea meadow with great paths for walking our dogs. Impressive view from the second floor bedroom window and screened porch was used often. Easy access to Rockland, Camden, and local beaches. The owner Chip was friendly and extremely helpful. Check-in/check-out was simple. I would highly recommend this property!

Awesome week with family in Maine

What a great week at Seameadow. The place was rustic in all the right ways but really nicely maintained. We spent a ton of time on the screen porch and exploring the meadow paths and the beach at the end of the road. It felt great to unplug for the week and we’d love to come back and visit again on our next trip to Maine. Highly recommend. Chip was really helpful and available, overall a really great place.

Relaxation and Peaceful

Chip was very helpful with things to do in the local area and what restaraunts to visit. The cottage has no TV, Internet or phone and it was perfect as we were looking to avoid all the distractions of technology. The cottage sets back off the road and through the woods, so privacy is what you get. We appreciated Chip's hel and we are looking forward to spending time up north again some day.

Sea Meadow on the Cove - Perfection!

This house was perfect for our family of 3 humans and 2 dogs. Close to Portland, Camden and Rockland - the property provided a peaceful, private and relaxing escape while at the same time allowing for short trips beyond the property if you are so inclined. Rented kayaks and a SUP from Ducktrap rentals - the process (delivery/ pickup) couldn't have been easier! You must watch the tides closely but our late mornings on the cove were a blast followed by lunch out at one of the great restaurants in the area. The views out of the upstairs bedrooms were so amazing - with the full moon on the cove and beyond right in front of me - it was hard to fall asleep! This is the right kind of insomnia to have on vacation! If the pictures and descriptions in the listing appeal to you - go for it!

Heaven!

Chip's house was all we dreamed of. The location is stunning - so private and yet so convenient to Rockland, Camden and surrounding areas. Chip was attentive and helpful as needed. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We rented kayaks for the week from Maine Sport, they delivered and picked up - a great experience. We kayaked just about every day in the cove. All the nearby beaches are lovely - Crockett's as well as Crescent, and Birch Point is truly gorgeous. Biked all around, including to the lighthouse. Spent lots of time watching the tide come in and out and the birds and butterflies in the meadow. Our kids couldn't stop talking about how much they loved it - one day they walked all the way across the cove at low tide (careful of the deep mud!) Mostly we let the rest of the world melt away. Would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks, Chip for sharing this special place with us!

Magical meadow with plenty of room to get lost and enjoy quality time with those you love.

Let the excitement build while slowly driving down the wooded path leading to Sea Meadow. Upon exiting the woods, prepare for the expanse of your new abode and surroundings. Yeah, your're in it now- the way life should be. Quaint little rustic sea patina'd cottage with an expansive meadow of hundreds of species of native flora celebrating this spot. Grass lined trails guide you through the exit of where you left for the week and transport you to the place you dreamed of while looking at the photos and reading the description of this special spot. The cove is proximal and allows exploration for all, including children, adults and furry friends as well. There is plenty of room for outdoor family fun. The cottage is rustic and comfortable. The absence of media and technology allow for the enjoyment of simple and home made fun and relaxation. Great area for bike riding. There is a beach within walking distance providing swimming and fishing, kayaking, etc. Come visit this wonderful spot and live by the tides while being proximal enough to explore this region of my favorite state. Rockland has everything you need to get back into it if need be and there is is plenty to keep you busy while being away from it all to state parks and beaches, aquariums, wineries, museums, art, etc. Cant fit it all in so do your exploring and get ready to book again. Just don't take my week. Chip is most accommodating and really provides some great advice of how to take advantage of this spot and area. Enjoy.

Chip was very forthright and accurate in his description. If anything the house and setting was even nicer and more peaceful than the listing made it sound. Great spot to relax and enjoy the cove.

Magical week at Owls Head

Seameadow exceeded our expectations in every way, from the beautiful, secluded setting on a private cove to the well-appointed cottage with views from every window. We had a wonderful time sightseeing in the area, but some of the best times were spent at the cottage, just sitting together for a picnic on the screened-in porch, watching for goldfinches darting through the wildflowers in the meadow and observing the dramatic changes in the tide. Our young daughters loved exploring the paths through the meadow toward the cove, and were especially delighted to discover a "secret" duck pond at the edge of the property that could just be spied through the trees. Other sightings included a wild turkey and five of her chicks crossing the private drive. Chip was a wonderful host as well, which added to the overall charm. We hope to come back again!

Totally relaxing, perfect views, rustic style home.

Owner was very helpful and accommodating. this was perfect just far enough away from town but still close to all attractions. Waking up and seeing wildlife from deer to ducks couldn't be any better. My family and I enjoy this area, we have visited from Bar harbor to Kittery and seem to keep choosing rockland area, No TV No wifi, glad it didn't . Thank you Chip for letting us enjoy your home. First home we have ever rented and had a great experience.

Amazing views and peaceful!

This home is located in the quiet town of Owl's Head. Close to everything! My husband and I brought our 3 children and 2 dogs with us for our first trip to Maine. We were not disappointed! The homeowner, Chip was so helpful and really went above and beyond to make our stay a great one! The house itself is rustic with no tv or wifi, which was perfect for us to spend time together instead of playing on electronics all day. I would sit on the screened in porch in the mornings and just listen to the seagulls. It is so quiet and peaceful. The house had everything we needed. The property was breathtaking and my kids loved playing tag and hide and seek in the beautiful paths outside. When the tide went down we would all go exploring the beach area for shells and any other collectibles we could find. Nearby was the Owl's Head General Store which has an amazing burger! We also went to Birch Point Beach for some swimming and exploring of the rocks. We were all sad to leave and could have spent an entire summer there just relaxing at Chip's house! We will definitely rent this house again for our next vacation to Maine! It was perfect!!
