Luxury meets serenity in this newly renovated 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath Carriage House overlooking picturesque cranberry bogs and expansive grounds. Situated on a quiet, quaint, side street, you will thoroughly enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the sounds and sights of nature surrounding you.
As you enter through the front door of this pristine property, you will instantly be drawn in by the clean lines, tasteful decor and modern amenities. The first floor is the heart of the home and is made up of a fully equipped, gorgeous, kitchen, convenient 1/2 bath with designated laundry area, warm and welcoming dining space with large table and chairs and a comfy, inviting living room with large screen tv and nap worthy sectional sofa! As you ascend the stairs to the second floor, you will find three bright, cheery, bedrooms, a bonus room, which purposely has no door, and was creatively designed for bunk beds. In addition, there is a spa like bathroom, fit for a King or Queen, featuring a separate soaking tub and walk in shower. The exterior of this historic oasis is as special as the interior and is complimented with an inviting new trex deck which has been beautifully adorned with lovely outdoor furniture and a natural gas grill! No need for propane here! Let’s not forget the heavenly outdoor shower with waterfall shower head & multiple jets. All of this is surrounded by a large, thoughtfully landscaped lawn, cranberry bogs and old fieldstone walls. If only walls could talk! Savor the fresh, clean air and warm sunshine as you explore this expansive property. Bring your mountain bikes, lawn games or a good book. Acres of property and beyond for exploring either on foot, by mountain bike, car or boat. Perhaps you are a beach lover? You will certainly appreciate the convenience to the water as you are only a few miles to some of the most beautiful, prestigious beaches, lakes and ponds. Have a four wheel drive vehicle? Tool on over to Sandy Neck and get a one day pass to go off-roading to areas that can only be reached by vehicle or boat. Choose your own private, oceanfront spot with gorgeous white sand and crystal blue water. Explore the dunes, collect seashells, sea glass or whatever treasures the ocean waves have left behind. Don’t forget your cooler! Bask in the experience of outdoor dining by the sea with a cookfire/bonfire at your site. Enjoy the incredible aromas of the food cooking on your own fire combined with the salty sea air whilst listening to the waves crashing on the beach in front of you. Get one of the most loved, one of a kind experiences of true Cape Codders. A secret they rather not share! It will leave you wanting more and beckon for your return year after year! So much to do and so little time…Whale watching, fishing charters and daily boat excursions are only a couple of miles a way in the heart of the historic Barnstable Village. Also in the village is the Mill Way Marina which offers a variety of activities including waterfront dining at the Mattakeese Wharf with fresh local fare, as well as a Seafood Shanty, Osterville Fish, offering fresh seafood to order and allows for outdoor eating on their patio or to take home and whip up for yourself. Historic Route 6A is a great place for splunking! Rich in history, Rte 6A will take you on a journey of a lifetime. Providing great site seeing, an abundance of antique shops, art galleries, restaurants, historical sites, beaches and so much more! Did I mention that Truro has one of the few standing outdoor Drive-in theaters? Journey back in time towards the lower end of the Cape, to the very tip of the Cape, where the road meets the ocean and you can drive no further. Climb the Provincetown Monument, visit the infamous Captain Peniman’s House, visit the National Seashore Visitors Center and walk the Helen Keller Trail. So much to do, see, eat and experience! Maybe you want to explore the area around you without getting in the car! If you love nature, going for walks, and riding mountain bikes through acres of land and cranberry bogs all you have to do is step out your front door to your own personal, outdoor playground. Experience Cape Cod and West Barnstable. You will never want to leave!
