Two queen beds with luxury mattresses await you for a solid night sleep. Smart TV with Roku and Bluetooth speakers give you just enough at-home entertainment.
The back wall of windows opens to your private backyard. Keep the blinds open to wake up with the sun or closed to sleep in a bit.
PLEASE READ: The casita bathroom is a tiny one and includes a shower stall that might not suite everyone. Always stocked with Public Goods shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and hand soap and comes complete with fluffy organic cotton towels.
Casita kitchenette includes a convection oven, induction cooktop, coffee maker and everything you need to go with each appliance for easy meals at home.

The Chattadoe Casita (formerly known as the Can-Tina Casita) is a small studio guest house of the Chattadoe House, perfect for the overnight traveler or small family of four. The unique casita is a quiet vacation setting for all four seasons, ideally situated between downtown Taos and the Taos Ski Valley. With 360-degree panoramic views of open mesa lands and the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, you’ll feel like you’re surrounded by a famous painted landscape.

Here you will find a small yet well-equipped kitchenette, washer & dryer, flat screen smart TV and indoor dining table for 2. Please note that the casita bathroom is a tiny one and includes a shower stall that might not suite everyone. Enjoy dinner al-fresco in the mountain facing backyard or take it all in over your morning cup of coffee. Hot tub available if Chattadoe House is not booked for those clear, star filled nights.

Head South down Blueberry Hill Road to find the Taos Country Club (open to the public), the Rio Grande River for rafting, the Rio Grande Del Norte National Monument, the San Francisco de Assisi Church and so much more. Head North and you’ll be on your way to Taos Ski Valley, Arroyo Seco’s quaint historic village or ultimately to the north end of Taos for all that it offers in galleries, restaurants, shopping and more!

Check-in is 4PM and Check-out is 10AM. Please let us know if alternative arrangements are needed and we will try to accommodate to the best of our ability. The Casita is equipped with an electronic deadbolt that will issue a fresh code for each new booking. For the security of our guests and the safety of the property, an external security camera is located on the front porch.

Please note that the property does not allow pets and if this is violated, an additional $300 will be charged to cover the cost of a deep clean to allow the space to be an allergy-friendly listing.

Fantastic Taos Casita just minutes from everything!

Thanks for sharing your property, the 'guest house' was fantastic. The view of the Taos Mountains is "a million dollar view"! You can't beat waking up to that sunrise, nor the evening of sunset view. If I could make one suggestion, future renters should understand it has a small shower. Which was fine for me, but did give me the feeling of using the shower on a boat/RV (3'x3'?) and could see how some guests might have trouble. That said, I would 100% rent the property again and highly recommend it for all the amenities (comfortable beds, furnished kitchen, washer/dryer, front door parking, outdoor chiminea and sitting area). And would consider the main house as a future renting option!
