Nestled 1 mile from Buffalo Trace, this home is the perfect starting point for your Bourbon Trail adventure. Inside, you'll find spacious and elegantly appointed rooms. W/ fully equipped kitchen and comfortable linens it makes for a relaxing stay.

After a day of bourbon discovery, return to Top Shelf to unwind and relax. As you step into Top Shelf, you'll immediately feel the warm and inviting atmosphere with plenty of natural light streaming through the windows.
Free off-street parking, providing peace of mind and convenience for those traveling by car. Leave your vehicle securely parked and take advantage of the fantastic location. Within a short stroll, you'll find a delightful coffee shop and a variety of restaurants, ensuring you're never far from a strong bourbon, a great meal or your caffeine fix.

Top Shelf is located on Broadway St in downtown Frankfort. Restaurants, coffee shop, The Foundry wedding venue, legislature building are all walkable from the house.

Castle and Key is a 15 minute car ride.
Woodford Reserve is a 22 minute car ride.
Wild Turkey is a 25 minute car ride.
Four Roses is a 30 minute car ride.
Top Shelf has a small private gravel parking lot behind the house for guest. The parking lot can be accessed via Long Lane. It is shared with house next door. Therefore, max of 2 spots provided for Top Shelf guest.
Across the street is a train. Most are unbothered by it. However for the light sleepers who are easily startled awake then this make be problematic.
I live elsewhere in the wonderful bluegrass state however, I always have my computer or phone nearby. Please reach out if something is broken, misplaced, or if you have a question.

I was born and raised in KY. I have grown to have a love for the bluegrass state. I now enjoy sharing this wonderful state not only with my children but with my guest. Kentucky has so much to offer: Derby, Bourbon, Mammoth Cave, Red River Gorge, Land Between the Lakes. It has a little something for everyone.

When I laid eyes on this historic home I knew I had to have it and share it with everyone. The home holds historic that shows in the small details of the house. Another reason I love it so much is the unbeatable location. It is located in the heart of downtown Frankfort and is walking distance to all the local restaurants and shop. And is a short 5 min drive to Buffalo Trace.
