About this property

Darling Historic Railroad Bungalow - Walk to Main Square & Whiskey Row!

Step back in time into a world of charm & nostalgia in our delightful one bedroom cottage in the "Whipple Historic District" downtown Prescott. Built in 1914, it was once the home to hardworking railroad workers who played a crucial roll in the history of our town.

We have restored our home to have all amenities needed for todays life while keeping the original hardwood flooring, footprint and old world vibe of the bungalow.

The cottage offers a cozy retreat for couples (or with a kiddo or two) offering a brand new ultra comfy king size Memory Foam bed, living space, kitchen, bathroom, office with single roll-a-way bed and laundry.

The private back yard backs up to a seasonal trickling creek is equipped with a BBQ and built in dining area. The front yard is just as spacious with a fabulous porch for morning coffee or sunsets & large grass lawn! We have many fruit trees and please help yourself when they are ripe!

Enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing or a simple picnic at one of our 8 beautiful lakes close by. Watson, Lynx, Willow & Gold Water Lakes are all a 10 minute drive. With over 400 miles of trails you are bound to find one that fits your desires. We have trail maps at the home.

Walk to the downtown center for restaurants, music, antique shops & WHISKEY ROW. All are close by and a convenient 10-15 minute walk or 5 minute drive.

Enjoy our historic home and the beautiful outdoors of Prescott. And please, we love our neighbors so quiet time is 10pm - 8 am. We strive to keep our neighbors happy. We all love our quiet, safe, outdoor lifestyle here & have a wonderful quality of life in Prescott. Welcome to "Everybody's Hometown" .... ENJOY YOUR VISIT!

Prescott getaway

Location is great! We loved the nearby hiking trail and the short drive to town. It was a little warm in the primary bedroom and the tv didn't work. It was clean and had all of the amenities we needed.

Railroad cottage. - a gem in Prescott

Wonderful stay at this tastefully decorated railroad home in downtown Prescott. We loved the home. The backyard with gas grill, table chairs and lots of birdsong was a lovely spot for barbecue dinner! The front porch area was our go to place for morning coffee and watching the parade of birds visit the birdbath.

Everything was advertised. Clean and comfortable. If you are taller than 6’3” or so, you may have problem standing up in the shower however. Cute place

Wonderful Home

My husband and I made a last minute decision to attend the Prescott Courthouse Lighting. I've had my eye on this home and was so glad it was available. It is just as pictured! Beautiful, historical home with a modern touch. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. Annie and Jay were quick to respond to questions that I had. This home is just a quick walk to downtown with plenty of shopping and places to eat. We took a peak at the bikes that are provided for guest use and they are in excellent condition. Sadly we didn't have time to ride on this trip. We will definitely stay here again!!!!
