Over all it was good. The location was great. Close enough to explore and enjoy Shipshewana. The second bathrooms shower was not easily used. It would be better to have a real shower. The Internet didn't work well for us. There could be more plates dishes and flat ware.
The property was exactly what we expected as it was described. We were a perfect distanceTo shopping and exploring the area. I would definitely go back to this house.
Beautiful little place to stay! Very clean, very comfortable, very quiet little neighborhood. Came here for a holiday getaway with my wife, son, and his girlfriend.
Our group enjoyed our weekend. The only complaint was no television (my fault). I forgot about the football games this weekend. The ramp was very handy especially when lugging in the necessities. The sounds of the horses was very relaxing.
The place is beautiful - welcoming. Difficult to find - we arrived after dark and there is nothing to indicate that we were at the correct place. Wrong number on sign hanging from the front porch - which we weren't able to see from the road anyways. No fire number indicating the driveway - which is in the back of the house. The house was lovely - clean and accommodating. Close to Shipshewana and Pumpkinvine Nature Trail
Great home and set up. Elderly parents were coming for visit also but got sick. The house would have worked great for them. Bathrooms are set up great for handicap individuals along with a ramp in the garage that could be used
We had a wonderful stay and it was very close downtown. The cabin was extremely clean. When we walked in, we were welcomed by a nice loaf of homemade bread and Peanut butter spread which was delicious. The rooms are big and the kitchen has everything you need. It was nice and quiet, except for the occasion clip ,clop, of an Amish buggy going by. Communication with Julie was awesome. We will definitely be going back!
Loved everything about this trip. House was just as you see on the pics. Host is very responsive, house was clean, convenient to everything we did. We had a great stay!
Home was perfect for our Shipshewana getaway. There was ample room for 4 adults to gather in the living room with privacy of individual bedrooms. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the Amish buggies go by, but there wasn't seating for everyone. There aren't any televisions (we knew this and didn't matter to us) but you can use wifi to watch your streaming services if needed. The location of the home was convenient and neighborhood was quiet.
Enjoyed our stay at this spacious home close to Shipshewana! Enjoyed the porch and watching the Amish drive back and forth. It was very entertaining and took the place of a TV (there isn't one). There were plenty of bathtubs but we did not use them. We used the one shower. Home is brighter than the listing pictures.
We were very happy with our stay. While the property looked like a cabin from the outside, it was very modern on the inside. It was furnished very nicely and the kitchen had all the dishes and utensils that we needed. The cabin is located on a main street in Shipshewana where many, many Amish residents pass by in their buggies. Our favorite pastime was sitting on the front porch and hearing the clip clop of distant horses hooves and waiting for them to pass by pulling a carriage. We will definitely request this cabin on future trips to Shipshewana
