You have the complete house and backyard to yourself. We do live at the back of the property, although you will have complete privacy besides us taking care of our animals.
Spend time on the deck overlooking the pond and woods, play ping pong, outdoor games or relax around the fire pit making s'mores. This is country, an array of sounds especially at night, frogs, insects, cows are close and of course there are a few roosters around. Don't forget bug repellent.
The stars at night are so big, it feels like you could touch them.

This fully renovated modern farmhouse-style home perfect for 1-4 adults seeking a peaceful and relaxing getaway to the area.
Upon entry, you'll step into an inviting living area, dining area and a delightful, fully equipped kitchen, with all standard, full sized appliances including washer and dryer for your use. Dishes, utensils and cookware are available for those who plan to cook. Olive oil, spices, salt, pepper, mustard, ketchup, are provided. There is a small crock pot, air popper. toaster. Alternatively, you can grill out and dine outdoors around the picnic table.

For sleeping, Bedroom 1 is a beautifully adorned space featuring a queen memory foam mattress, two nightstands, a luggage rack, blackout curtains, a ceiling fan, and a nightstand fan for white noise. The room also provides a dresser with ample storage, an ironing board, an iron, and extra pillows and blankets.
Bedroom 2 also features a queen bed with memory foam mattress, two nightstands, a luggage rack, blackout curtains, a ceiling fan, and a nightstand fan for white noise. The room also provides a dresser with ample storage, and extra pillows and blankets.

The bathroom boasts a jetted whirlpool tub, a combo shower, a vanity, a toilet, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, towels, a hairdryer, makeup remover cloths.
Step out the back door to enjoy the tranquility from our 30 x 25 deck overlooking the pond. Perfect for a peaceful morning cup of coffee, hot chocolate or tea from the stocked kitchen coffee bar with coffee maker and kettle or grill out for an afternoon barbecue or evening candle lit dinner. After dinner, enjoy the tradition of roasting marshmallows and s'mores around the fire pit and try your hand at fishing in the pond.
We strive to provide each of our guests with a comfortable and enjoyable stay, making our home a great home away from home. Green Acres offers a cozy environment that maintains a small-town country feel, complete with a pond, woods, outdoor space, and a fire pit on a sandpit next to the fishing pond. The deck space includes a picnic table, grill, seating for morning coffee, and a propane heater.
This is our personal future full-time home. We cherished our times during our visits here. After extensive work and updates, we're thrilled to share it with others!
Green Acres is a peaceful haven to reconnect, escape daily distractions, and appreciate the beauty of the surrounding world. We can't wait to welcome you!
We are still a work in progress outdoors. There are areas that aren't ready for guests. Tall grass overgrown areas have wild blackberry vines(painful) and possibly ticks, there have been snake sightings also. Also clearly marked areas like the shed could be hazardous. Please avoid these areas.

Special Note: For the safety and security of our guests and our property there are 3 outdoor cameras facing outward.
