Quiet Mid-Century Gem Close to Sacramento

Welcome to the historic Streng Mid-Century Modern home, located in a peaceful, family-friendly neighborhood in the suburbs of Sacramento. We are approximately 20 minutes from downtown Sacramento and 15 minutes from historic Folsom. Our recently remodeled home features an open-concept design with a chef's kitchen on one side and a dedicated workspace overlooking an open greenspace on the other. Guests can relax in any of our three bedrooms. The main bedroom includes a walk-in shower with rain shower heads and a king-size bed. The garden room has two twin beds and offers a beautiful view of our garden, which is filled with color depending on the time of year. The third bedroom includes a full bed and is a serene space to enjoy a book or take a midday nap. We also have a fourth room with board games for family time. Guests also have access to our laundry room, which includes an elliptical trainer. The kitchen consists of all the basics. Coffee lovers will enjoy our automatic espresso machine or drip brewer, and cooks will find an induction cooktop and oven that can handle any recipe. Stepping outside, guests will find an outdoor seating area and swing that looks out to our fruit garden. Guests can enjoy fresh pomegranates, figs, cherries, and citrus. Whether you're planning a weekend getaway in Sacramento or an extended work stay, our house is perfect for you. If a house was a muse!

This house is like walking into a vintage splendor. Everything displayed was true to the architecture of this home. With all the modern accents and decor deserving of a spread in a design magazine. I felt like I could be in Palm Springs in the 60s! There is so much attention to detail and comfort and quality! The softness of towels and sheets, the gorgeous master shower, the open kitchen. Even the way things were folded or presented for use. All those extra details add up to feeling free to focus on your time spent with family while there. Happy to just sit in this majestic home! Or out on the lovely large porch. No searching or running to the store was necessary. The owners thought of everything you could anticipate needing and beyond. It was generously set for a beautiful weekend and we could not of fallen more in love with this place! We did not want to leave and ended up staying an extra night which the host graciously accommodated. Thanks and cannot wait to stay again!! It was perfect!
