Summer: For water lovers and boaters, the Ski Run Marina (0.3 miles away) and the El Dorado Beach (0.7 miles away) offer the perfect backdrop to make amazing memories. There are two buoys - first come, first serve. You can pull up to dock anytime. Boats and jet skis you can rent by the hour (two hour minimum) just steps away near Riva Grill.
Winter: Everyone from beginners to expert skiers and boarders should take advantage of the Heavenly Ski Resort Lake Tahoe (2 minutes/1.2 miles away) or Diamond Peak or Alpine Meadows across the lake!
All seasons: grocery stores and casinos are easily within driving distance at 3 miles away.

PARKING:

Parking features: Ground level and underground (garage) parking available; unassigned parking.
No street parking.
*Parking passes are required for overnight stays.* Guests are required to go to the office upon arrival and get 1-2 parking passes and display them within their vehicle at all times. Overnight vehicles without passes may be subject to towing. Guests are also required to return them to the front office upon departure. ** Leaving them in the unit is not returning them. A $50 fine will be added to your reservation for unreturned passes.
Guests will receive a reminder before arrival and prior to checkout of this policy.
The office is open until 11 pm to get parking passes for the two primary vehicles.
In summer: Guests are required to have beach bracelets. These are supplied at the front desk.

CHECK-IN TIME: 4:00 PM; CHECK-OUT TIME: 10:00 AM. Check in and check out times are firm.
Removing shoes or jackets that can get affected by the outside elements, such as sand, rain, or snow upon entry can act as an additional safety measure and prevent accidents due to slippery floors and dirt.
GUEST ENTRY DETAILS: a unique code will be provided and each code will be reset after each guests’ stay.
SECURITY CAMERA DETAILS: Surveillance cameras may be used in the common areas by Lakeland Village, not by the homeowner.
All communication is accomplished via app messages. Check-in/checkout instructions, door access codes, reminders, and questions are relayed and answered via messages.

This home is owner operated; the HOA dictates the availability of the community amenities (pools, hot tubs, tennis courts, fitness center, etc.). The private beach is always open.
WILDLIFE WARNING: Guests may encounter various animals and/or critters in Tahoe, such as bears, mice, raccoons, spiders, etc. With snow and moisture on the ground, you may experience animals near or in the home.
QUIET TIME: The county quiet time for all rentals is 10:00 PM - 9:00 AM
POWER OUTAGES: no generators provided
WINTER TRAVEL WARNING: Snow is a common occurrence and chains may be required during heavy snowfall. 4WD vehicles are recommended over low profile 2WD vehicles.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: Travel insurance is up to the guest to purchase; refunds not given due to Covid, smoke, fire, weather, snow storms, road closures, etc.
CANCELLATIONS: Moderate - "Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund. Bookings canceled at least 14 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund."
