LAKEFRONT COTTAGE! w dock on beautiful Platte Lake
Bring your boat or fish from the dock at
our family's lakefront cottage on crystal
clear Platte Lake! Enjoy all the water
activities by day then grill by the
campfire at night. Watch the sunrise
from our glass enclosed porch or huge
dining room table w picture windows.
Kayak or canoe down the river into Lake
Michigan. Our cottage has been my
family's treasure for over 100 yrs my
Nonny believed in the lake's healing
power. Our Nonnys Cottage is RUSTIC we have our own well water. We DO NOT have air conditioning, we just open the windows and enjoy the breeze. Some comforters are original handmade and sewn over 100 years ago. We have original artwork throughout We want to preserve the original aesthetic of our nonny's cottage that we remember as children that our mom and our nonny grew up with. If you are wanting five star amenities this is not the rental for you. The cottage has been in our family for 115 years. You will turn in at a sign that says CUAMBECO the bay is named for the original 4 families that settled here using the first two letters of each last name. All of the original families are still here several generations later. Please don't hesitate to reach out with questions. Located
