Charming shotgun-style home in the heart of Historic Downtown Madison! Enjoy this recently remodeled home in the historic district. The grand fireplace in the center of the home leaves no room for desire- absolutely stunning feature, and it is completely functional! New updates throughout the home, but plenty of charm and originality. Great location! Just one block away from Madison's Main Street with local coffee shops, restaurants, shopping, the Ohio River walking path, and local events. Reserve it while you can!
*Unfortunately, our fireplace is not fully functional as of now but will be back up and running in no time!*

Great house with a great location

This was a wonderful place for our weekend in Madison. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. The house is very clean and updated with everything we needed. We really appreciated having large beds and bathrooms for each bedroom.

Quaint, clean property in the heart of Madison

One of the cleanest and well furnished VRBOs I have stayed in. Would totally stay again. Unfortunately the fire place was not working but that was okay. We did have issues with our code not working but the neighbor was very kind and came over to let us in and use her code. Sadly, communication with the owner was less than desired. I never got a response back about our code not working when I let her know, nor when I requested to check out 30 minutes late. I know I could have called but didn’t feel it warranted bothering her so we just packed up quickly and tried to kill time before the shops opened.Other than that, the property was wonderful.

Fire place house

We had a great stay in Madison. The town was very cute and most everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. The house was clean and well maintained. The only downside side was the fire place and washer were not in working condition during the time of our visit.

Love the Fireplace House.

My second stay here. Beautiful town. Lovely neighbors. I walked everywhere. Another option is to rent a golf cart. Also a ton of fun. Perfect house.

This space really exceeded expectations. It was much larger than I was expecting and was situated in a quiet neighborhood near downtown. Gaining access to the home was easy and communicated well by the host. I would certainly consider rebooking this space on a return visit to Madison.

Quick trip to Madison

Nice place. Supposed to meet a friend who had a last minute change of plans. Ended up with more room than we needed. 2 nice bedrooms and bathrooms plus a bonus toilet closet. Cute place. Plenty of towels and blankets. Good burgers at off of Broadway Taproom. Many restaurants are walkable and so is the river.

Peaceful and comfy

Beautiful property, well stocked w/ toiletries, goodies and info about the city. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and reminiscing of old times. Walking distance to down town. We love Madison and would definitely recommend this property to anyone.

Beautiful home

The home was very clean, well stocked with everything you could need, Christine was very kind and welcoming. Minutes away from downtown and Clifty Falls, great scenery and activities minutes away from the home. It was a great experience and warm homey getaway. 1000% recommend!
