Close to the volcano but not the best location

The villa was close to the volcano, hot springs and mistico hanging bridges park. The third bathroom was outside the kitchen doors and we did not use it at all. Due to the location on the property of Natura Eco park, the birds were prett lout but that was as expected. The front and back doors both had gaps so we had a lot of bug and lizard visitors. We also kept finding leaves around the first and second floors so I think there were small gaps in the ceiling as well. This is probably why the beds were a bit dirty. We also had only 5 bath towels but we only stayed 2 nights so it didn’t become a big problem. It would have been nice to have one or two extra. Since we were staying here, we got free access to Natura Eco park and I am glad we didn’t have to pay. It was very dirty and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The water was green and cloudy and the enclosures were similar. Couldn’t see any frogs, we only saw one snake, and the crocodiles and pigs looked depressed. It’s better to see the butterflies at La Paz Waterfall park.

It was a great place to stay. The rooster was confused and crowed every night at 3 am. But all other things were great

Unique rain forest place to stay

Very nice place. Can fit a large group. Definately feel you are in the rain forest while having modern amenities. Has everything you need. Close to the hot springs and not far from town. Have to be ok with occasional small lizards and small bugs in the house but that is an authentic rain forest. The italian place near by has good pizza.

Great stay in Casa Natura

We stayed in Casa Natura for 5 days and had a great experience. The house was huge, clean and well equipped. It's actually part of Natura Eco Park main building with a small park reception area off to the side and the rest of the building as the rental. The park staff was super friendly and helpful. Pros of this setup: you have free access to Natura Park as your back yard. You can visit multiple times, see crocodiles out your back door, visit the butterfly house whenever you want, go on daily nature walks, etc. Cons of this setup: you will have park visitors milling around out front. About the house: * Only the bedrooms have ACs, but if you turn on all the ACs and leave the bedroom doors open, the main area is pleasant. * The 3rd bathroom is out the back door. It took us a while to find it. It's a full bathroom and you can get there without getting wet due to roof overhang (it does indeed rain A LOT). The other two are accessible only from the bedrooms. * The roof is metal and so any sound is amplified. As a result of that, you will not hear the TV when it's raining, you will however hear every scrape of giant vulture claws (they like to roost on the roof, mainly at first light). * They provided free, mid-stay quick clean (much appreciated!) Of note: There are sloths living on the bottom of the road. No need for Sloth tour, just walk down to the corner!
