Sundog was great when we arrived I could not figure out how to enter code called them and they assisted me.House needs a backup generator as we lost power for a day but I know it was unusual circumstances. Other than that it was perfect.

Relaxing, Spacious Space that needs a bit more Love

I originally booked a different Sundog Vacation Rental property that was not functioning due to the snow from the week prior. They were accommodating by providing The Tuck House as an alternative so we could still vacation. It is a spacious and nicely decorated home and we gained an additional room as the original booking only had 4 bedrooms. However, the house was drafty for half of our weekend stay. We could only control the temperature of the central heat upstairs, leaving the main floor and basement cool. We were provided 2 space heaters but it took them nearly 2 days to warm the main floor and basement of the home. There was also a beetle infestation throughout the entire home that was just outright annoying. By the end of the trip, they were comfortable enough to fly near the kitchen area. The kitchen, however, is a nice space and had plenty of pots/pans and essentials to cook. We also really enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor balcony space. We were appreciative of the accommodations but overall, it was not comparable to our original booking and we hate we missed out on it.
