Thanksgiving tradition
We've stayed in Bonita Village the week of Thanksgiving 8 years in a row, but this was our first time staying in this particular condo. The overall property is wonderful - the pools are amazing and we love being just a couple of miles from the beach. This specific condo was fine. It was equipped well for our week's stay, roomy enough for our family of four, and had comfortable furniture. However, there was construction right next to the complex that was rather loud and disruptive, which was not listed anywhere in the description. We also had a maintenance person unlock the door and walk into the unit one morning, without knocking first. The condo did not have any beach items (chairs, shovels, buckets, etc.) that some of the other units have had - in fairness, those items aren't expected, but I find it a nice bonus when they are provided. And while the condo appeared clean, the bottoms of our feet were dirty after walking around inside. The property manager sent all information through email versus through VRBO, so just be aware - I thought I wasn't receiving the check-in information because it was never entered into VRBO, it was emailed to me directly. Pat was accessible and quickly cleared up the confusion. We will definitely stay in Bonita Village again, but we will look for a different unit next year.
