About this property
The Nest Is the perfect size for a small family
We have a campsite near Lake George in Skowhegan and we added a few sites to share with friends and family. This is a cozy cabin ideal for a family who want to get away and enjoy the outdoors. There’s a small fridge to keep your drinks cold and an air conditioner to keep you comfortable on warm days. There’s a fire pit with a grill for cooking. Onsite there is a communal bath house and a covered pavilion. This campsite is just a short trail walk from the Lake George regional Park. Which has a couple of beach areas as well as a boat launch for water sports. There’s a bathhouse to shower and clean up. We are working on getting the septic system installed and have a portable toilet to use until it’s completed. From the campsite you can take a 10 minute walk down to the lake or you can spend the day hiking. You can drive down to the boat landing and put your kayak in the water or continue up the road to enjoy a nice sandy beach.
